    • Drives in three runs
Witt went 1-for-4 with a triple, three RBI and a run scored during Friday's 8-0 win at Detroit.

Advice: The 23-year-old started the scoring with a sacrifice fly during the third inning and added a two-run triple as part of a seven-run ninth for the Royals. Witt is in a bit of a power drought with no homers in his past 14 games, though he does have six RBI and three steals over his last four contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:59 pm
    • Bobby Witt Jr. plates three runs to lead Royals
Bobby Witt Jr. went 1-for-4 with a triple and three RBI on Friday afternoon, propelling the Royals to an 8-0 victory over the Tigers in Detroit.

Advice: The 23-year-old superstar opened the scoring in the third inning with a sacrifice fly off of Reese Olson. That would be the only run scored for either side until the Royals broke the game open with a seven-run ninth inning. Witt featured heavily in that frame, crushing a three-run triple off of Will Vest and scoring on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Vinnie Pasquantino. He has lived up to his lofty fantasy draft status so far this season — slashing .306/.350/.565 with four homers, 14 RBI and seven stolen bases through his first 27 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:26 pm
    • Swipes two bags in win
Witt went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI, two stolen bases and one run scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Witt's RBI single in the fifth inning produced the decisive run in the contest. He's gone 7-for-20 (.350) with three RBI and three steals over his last five games. He continues to hit well out of the No. 2 spot in the order, slashing .317/.367/.574 with four home runs, seven steals, 11 RBI, 21 runs scored, eight doubles and three triples over 109 plate appearances. Witt's success has been a driving force behind the Royals' surprising 15-10 start to the campaign. Rotowire.com Thursday, 9:55 am
    • Blaze Alexander returns to lineup on Wednesday
Blaze Alexander went 1-for-4 on Wednesday in his return to the lineup.

Advice: Alexander was back at shortstop for Wednesday’s series finale against the Cardinals following a two-game absence due to right hamstring discomfort. It doesn’t sound like a concern moving forward. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:00 am

    • Logs hit in return
Alexander started at shortstop and went 1-for-4 in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Alexander returned to the lineup after missing two games due to a hamstring. He was moved up to second in the order, as a couple of Arizona regulars were getting a breather. Alexander also committed his fourth throwing error of the season (minus-7 outs above average), although the fielding issues haven't affected his playing time or offense. Alexander is hitting .316/.371/.915 with four doubles, three home runs and 15 RBI over 62 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:57 pm

    • Returns to lineup as No. 2 hitter
Alexander (hamstring) will start at shortstop and bat second in Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Alexander didn't play in either of Arizona's last two contests after leaving Sunday's 5-3 win over the Giants with right hamstring cramping, but he'll be back in action for the series finale in St. Louis. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo will tinker with his lineup and move Alexander up to the two hole after the rookie had batted no higher than sixth in any of his previous 13 starts. • Three hits in win
Witt went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base during Tuesday's 3-2 win over Toronto.

Advice: Witt's fifth-inning double proved to be the difference-maker in Tuesday's contest, plating two runs to give the Royals a 3-2 lead they would hold for the rest of the game. The 23-year-old shortstop remains one of baseball's top young stars with a .316/.362/.582 slash line through 105 plate appearances, and he's now logged a base hit in each of his last four games. • Witt doubles, drives in two vs. Blue Jays
Bobby Witt Jr. was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the Royals’ win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Witt was integral to a three-run fifth inning for the Royals, who had been held scoreless until that point. His double plated Maikel Garcia and Kyle Isbel to give the Royals a 3-2 lead, which proved to be just what they needed to escape with the win over Kevin Gausman and the Jays. Witt’s bat continues to stay hot, as he’s now hit in four straight games.

    • Blaze Alexander (hamstring) remains out of lineup
Blaze Alexander (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Cardinals.

Advice: Alexander will miss his second straight contest due to a relatively minor right hamstring issue that cropped up over the weekend. The 24-year-old rookie slugger has been outstanding so far in his first taste of the majors with a stratospheric .945 OPS with three homers, 13 RBI and one steal through 18 contests.. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. It’ll be veteran Kevin Newman drawing another start at shortstop in his absence. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:54 pm
