    • Duran has two hits, robs home run in win Saturday
Jarren Duran went 2-for-4 with a run scored against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Duran won this game for Boston. He singled in the eighth inning and came around to score the go-ahead run. Then in a one-run game in the ninth inning, Duran robbed what would’ve been a home run off the bat of Stuart Fairchild. Duran is hitting .283 with an .826 OPS on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:32 pm
    • Harper blasts 18th home run, has four hits in win
Bryce Harper went 4-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI against the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: Harper’s home run was his 18th of the year. He blasted a two-run shot into the second deck in right field off Arizona starter Tommy Henry in the third inning. Harper now has a seven-game hitting streak and three home runs in his last three games. He’s up to .294 with a .951 OPS and 51 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 3:53 pm

    • Suffers left elbow bruise
Sosa was hit by a pitch in the fifth inning of Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks and has a left elbow contusion, Brooke Destra of NBCSPhilly reports.

Advice: Sosa was removed from the game after the HPB and his postgame X-rays returned negative. Though he avoided structural damage, Sosa is still deemed day-to-day. He went 0-for-1 with a run scored prior to exiting. Rotowire.com Today, 3:25 pm

    • Kyle Tucker (shin) hasn’t resumed baseball activity
MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart reports Kyle Tucker (shin) has yet to resume baseball activities.

Advice: Tucker is still walking with a limp and has yet to resume any baseball activities at this juncture. There was some optimism earlier this week that he was getting close, but clearly is still going to need some extra time to recover. There isn’t a definitive timeline for his return to Houston’s lineup at this point. He’s been out since early June recovering from a shin contusion. It’s fair to wonder if he’s dealing with something more serious like a hairline fracture at this point. There should be some clarity on his status at some point in the near future. • Willson Contreras (forearm) could return on Monday
The Athletic’s Katie Woo reports Willson Contreras (forearm) could return as early as Monday’s series opener against the Braves.

Advice: Contreras is slated to get into a pair of rehab contests this weekend for Triple-A Memphis with the aim of returning early next week. The 32-year-old backstop has been on the shelf since undergoing surgery back in early May to repair a fractured left forearm. Barring something unexpected, he should return early next week, which would be a significant development for the Cardinals, and fantasy managers as well. Rotoworld Today, 10:10 am
    • Red Sox activate Wilyer Abreu for Saturday return
Red Sox activated OF Wilyer Abreu from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Abreu returns to Boston’s lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Reds after missing a couple weeks recovering from a right ankle sprain. The 24-year-old corner outfielder has been excellent defensively this season and also holds an .829 OPS with six homers and seven steals in 189 plate appearances over 53 games. • Activated from IL, back in lineup
The Red Sox reinstated Abreu (ankle) from the 10-day injured list Saturday, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: Abreu will start in right field and bat second against the Reds on Saturday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports. Abreu landed on the injured list June 4 after twisting his right ankle in the dugout against the Tigers on June 2. He began his rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday and went 3-for-12 with two solo home runs across his three outings. Prior to his injury, Abreu was slashing .272/.344/.485 with six home runs and 22 RBI while sporting an .829 OPS. To make room for Abreu, utility man Bobby Dalbec was optioned to Triple-A Worcester. Reynolds went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Friday against the Rays.

He now has a hit in 18 consecutive games, a stretch in which he's batting .342 with four long balls, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 7:44 am

    • Snaps hitless run in big way
Semien went 1-for-4 with a double and three RBI in Friday's 6-2 win over the Royals.

Advice: Semien provided the big hit of the game with a bases-clearing double in the sixth inning to give Texas a lead it would not relinquish. The double snapped a hitless run of 17 at-bats. Semien, the Rangers' leadoff hitter, leads the team with 43 RBI through 74 games. Rotowire.com Today, 6:23 am
