      Advice: Santana reached base in three of his first four trips to the plate, starting with a leadoff double in the top of the fourth. It was the veteran first baseman's fourth three-hit performance this month and the fourth multi-hit effort in his last six games.       Advice: Lopez stumbled a bit over the first three frames, allowing a walk and four hits, including a solo home run off the bat of Mitch Haniger. However, the right-hander recovered nicely after the early hiccups, fanning six of the nine batters he faced over his final three innings of work as Minnesota took a 5-1 lead. Lopez induced 18 swinging strikes on the night and now has 25 strikeouts over his last 14 innings on the mound.       Advice: We certainly hope you weren’t one of the fantasy managers that bailed on López during his persistent struggles earlier this month as he’s recorded at least nine strikeouts in back-to-back outings and has allowed just one earned run over 14 innings of work during that span, capitalizing on a pair of favorable road matchups against the Athletics and Mariners, respectively. The underlying expected stats pointed to some regression from a run-prevention standpoint, so we’re not totally surprised that he’s reverted to form after a handful of rough outings.       Advice: Santander got the Orioles on the board with a second-inning homer, and his RBI double in the seventh provided a key insurance run. He may never want June to end -- he's batting .274 (29-for-106) with 13 homers and 26 RBI across 27 contests this month. The incredible surge has him up to 22 homers, 55 RBI, 46 runs scored, 14 doubles and no stolen bases through 78 games this season, though he's still batting a middling .233 despite his .813 OPS.       Anthony Santander doubled and homered in a win Saturday over the Rangers.

      Advice: Santander hit his 22nd homer of the season with a solo shot off Michael Lorenzen in the second. The 29-year-old outfielder doubled in a run in the seventh to extend the Baltimore lead to 6-4 and also gave Santander 55 RBI on the season.       Valdez allowed six runs on 10 hits and three walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Mets on Saturday.

      Advice: Valdez struggled in the second and third innings, but the Astros were able to rally back to help him avoid a loss. Over six outings in June, he allowed 16 runs across 37.2 innings, though 11 of those runs came in two starts. The southpaw is still struggling compared to his usual level of performance with a 4.11 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 68:29 K:BB over 85.1 innings through 14 starts this year.       Advice: Valdez gave up 10 hits, walked three and struck out five. He allowed at least five runs for the second time in his last four starts. Valdez’ ERA is 4.11 on the year, though there is some hope for him to bounce back given his 3.55 xFIP. The 30-year-old left-hander is set to face the Blue Jays on the road next week.
