    • Yields four runs
Woods Richardson allowed four runs on four hits and four walks over four innings in a no-decision Friday. He struck out four during the win over Oakland.

Advice: Woods Richardson was the victim of a Shea Langeliers grand slam in the first inning but otherwise kept the Athletics off the board. Woods Richardson threw just 45 of 80 pitches for strikes as he struggled with his command and control. It was the first time this season he walked more than two batters and it was his second-shortest outing. Woods Richardson's ERA is up to 3.29 with a 46:15 K:BB through 54.2 frames. His next start is lined up to be at home against the Rays. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:45 am

    • Simeon Woods Richardson gives up grand slam Friday
Simeon Woods Richardson struggled in a no-decision against the Athletics on Friday night, giving up four runs on four hits over his four innings of work.

Advice: The 23-year-old hurler also issued four free passes on the night while striking out four batters. All of the damage done against him came in the opening inning as Woods Richardson loaded the bases on a pair of walks and an infield single, then Shea Langeliers crushed a two-out grand slam. He settled in after that to keep the A’s off the board over his final three frames, but the damage had been done. He got seven whiffs on 80 pitches on the night, posting a minuscule CSW of 20 percent. He’ll carry a 3.29 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a 46/15 K/BB ratio (54 2/3 innings) into Thursday’s showdown against the Rays. Rotoworld Friday, 8:44 pm

    • Racks up 13 strikeouts Thursday
Crochet allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out 13 batters over seven innings in a no-decision against Seattle on Thursday.

Advice: Crochet was absolutely dominant in the outing, inducing 24 swinging strikes and finishing with a career-high 13 punchouts. The only run against the southpaw came via Tyler Locklear's first career homer in the fifth inning, and Crochet was in line for the victory before Michael Kopech blew a save opportunity in the ninth. Despite a few rough starts in April, Crochet has been a revelation for the White Sox and for fantasy managers this season. Over his past nine starts, he's recorded a 1.36 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 76:11 K:BB over 53 innings. Crochet is tied with Tyler Glasnow for the major-league lead with 116 punchouts on the campaign. • Garrett Crochet weaves gem with 13 strikeouts
Garrett Crochet struck out 13 batters over seven innings of one-run baseball but didn’t pick up a decision Thursday against the Mariners.

Advice: Crochet was absolutely dominant while taking advantage of a team that strikes out at an enormous rate, so the results are equally impressive and not surprising. He did allow a solo homer to Tyler Locklear, but outside of that and a Victor Robles double, it was smooth sailing for the 24-year-old. The 13 punchouts are a season-high, but this is a hurler who has already fanned 116 batters in just-under 83 innings with a 3.16 ERA. Crochet is an absolute must-start regardless of opponent, and he gets the Astros on Wednesday. Rotoworld Thursday, 9:23 pm

    • Earns ninth save
Fairbanks earned a save against the Cubs on Thursday, allowing one walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Entering with a 3-2 lead in the ninth inning, Fairbanks walked Michael Busch with one out but induced a game-ending double play to secure the save. Since returning from an arm injury in mid-May, Fairbanks is 6-for-6 in save chances and has not allowed an earned run in 14 innings of work. On the season, he is 9-for-10 in save opportunities with a 3.00 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 23:11 K:BB in 21 innings. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:56 pm
    • Fairbanks picks up save against Cubs Thursday
Pete Fairbanks tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: The save was Fairbanks’ ninth of the season. He walked Michael Busch with one out before getting Nico Hoerner to ground into a double play to end the game. Fairbanks has now converted on six consecutive save opportunities. The last time he blew a save chance was April 17th. His ERA is now 3.00 on the season. Fairbanks already has four saves in June. • Clean appearance in blowout loss
Fairbanks allowed one hit and struck out one across a scoreless inning Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Fairbanks last pitched Wednesday, so he entered the game in the ninth inning Sunday even with the Rays down by seven runs. Though it was a low-leverage situation, Fairbanks now hasn't allowed a run across 13 innings while maintaining a 13:2 K:BB since returning from the injured list May 11. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:28 am
    • Stuck with tough loss Saturday
Woods Richardson (2-1) took the loss Saturday as the Twins were downed 4-0 by the Pirates, allowing one run on six hits over 6.1 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: The right-hander put together one of his best performances of the season, blanking the Bucs until serving up a solo shot to Rowdy Tellez in the seventh inning, but Woods Richardson got no run support at all. He recorded 17 swinging strikes among 97 pitches en route to his third quality starts among 10 trips to the mound in the majors this season. Woods Richardson will take a 2.84 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 42:11 K:BB through 50.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next week against the A's. • Simeon Woods Richardson takes loss vs. Pirates
Simeon Woods Richardson allowed one run with six strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings in a loss to the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Woods Richardson was excellent on Saturday despite taking a tough-luck loss as the Twins were unable to give him any run support. He scattered five hits over six scoreless innings, striking out six batters with no walks allowed. Rowdy Tellez would finally get to him in the seventh, launching a solo homer to break the scoreless game. The 23-year-old right-hander has produced a 2.84 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and a 42/11 K/BB ratio across 50 2/3 innings. He’ll take on the Athletics in Minnesota on Thursday. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:58 pm
