    • Sitting against southpaw
Pasquantino is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Angels.

Advice: With the Angels sending southpaw Patrick Sandoval to the mound Sunday, the lefty-hitting Pasquantino will get the series finale off. Pasquantino has gone 13-for-36 with one home run and 11 RBI since May 1, and he is up to .248/.329/.445 over 161 plate appearances this season. Salvador Perez will start at first base Sunday in Pasquantino's stead. Rotowire.com Today, 11:07 am
    • Taking seat Sunday
Busch is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Busch had started each of the Cubs' first 10 games of May and the Pirates are bringing a lefty (Bailey Falter) to the hill Sunday, so Cubs manager Craig Counsell likely viewed it as an optimal time to give the 26-year-old the day off. Patrick Wisdom will check in for Busch at first base and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Today, 8:43 am

    • Michael Busch gets Sunday off vs. Pirates
Michael Busch is not in the lineup for Sunday’s tilt against the Pirates.

Advice: Busch will get a break against left-hander Bailey Falter and the Pirates for Sunday’s finale. Patrick Wisdom will instead start at first and hit cleanup against Falter and the Bucs. Rotoworld Today, 7:52 am

    • Homer, three RBI in win
Pasquantino went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer, three RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Angels.

Advice: Pasquantino jumped on a hanging four-seamer with two outs in the top of the third inning and crushed it into the stands for his fifth home run of the season, and his first this month. The first baseman would also add a sacrifice fly in the contest, marking the third time in his last five games in which he's tallied multiple RBI. Pasquantino is on an absolute tear right now, registering three multi-hit games in a row with at least one extra-base hit in each of those performances. He's batting .429 (12-for-28) in May with 11 RBI, six runs scored and six extra-base hits. Rotowire.com Friday, 6:34 am
    • Three hits, three RBI
Pasquantino went 3-for-5 with an RBI single, a two-run double and a run during Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Pasquantino gave the Royals the lead in the fifth inning, plating Kyle Isbel and Bobby Witt on a double off Colin Rea. He came around to score in that same inning when Salvador Perez notched a double himself. The outing marked Pasquantino's third game this season driving in at least three runs, moving him up to 21 RBI on the year. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:34 pm
    • Deliver walk-off homer Tuesday
Busch went 2-for-4 with a walk-off solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Padres.

Advice: Busch's seventh home run of the season was his biggest to date, as he took Enyel De Los Santos deep in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Cubs to victory. The slugging first baseman has been solid with an .816 OPS across 35 games, and his seven long balls are second on the team. Busch will likely continue to sit against lefty starters, but he's an impact bat against righties. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:55 pm

    • Vinnie Pasquantino collects three hits, three RBI
Vinnie Pasquantino finished 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI versus the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: It seems like it’s too often been a two-man offense for the Royals, but Pasquantino will pick it up. He crushed the ball tonight, hitting four balls over 100 mph. Three of them checked in at 107-108 mph. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:48 pm
    • Michael Busch hits walk-off homer vs. Padres
Michael Busch went 2-for-4 with a walk-off homer in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

Advice: The Cubs held a 1-0 lead throughout most of this one, but a two-run homer by Jurickson Profar in the eighth gave the Padres the 2-1 advantage and put Shota Imanaga on the hook for his first loss of the season. Fortunately for Imanaga, a sacrifice fly by Christopher Morel in the bottom of the eighth inning put the Cubs in position to win it in the final frame. Busch made short work of the opportunity, hitting a leadoff homer to right off the first pitch of the inning from Enyel De Los Santos to give the Cubs the 3-2 win. It was Busch’s seventh homer of the season, as the first baseman continues to shine in his first full year of big league play. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:34 pm
