• Getting day off
Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Advice: For the first time since Mookie Betts landed on the 10-day injured list June 17 with a fractured wrist, Rojas will head to the bench. While taking over as the Dodgers' everyday shortstop over the past two weeks, Rojas slashed a robust .350/.386/.450 with four extra-base hits (all doubles) over a stretch of 11 starts. Enrique Hernandez will occupy shortstop Sunday in Rojas' stead. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago

  • Guardians demote McKenzie, activate Williams
Guardians optioned RHP Triston McKenzie to Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: McKenzie gets the boot with the Guardians bringing Gavin Williams (elbow) off the 60-day injured list to make his season debut this week. McKenzie has been awful on the mound as of late while allowing 12 earned runs and walking 11 over his last three starts. There’s still plenty of reason for long-term optimism as a 26-year-old who has had as much success as he’s had, but fantasy managers should look elsewhere for help in their rotation at this point. • Demoted to Triple-A
The Guardians optioned McKenzie to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Through the first three months of the 2024 season, the historically injury prone McKenzie has enjoyed a clean bill of health, but he's performed well below expectations for both the Guardians and fantasy managers alike. After failing to escape the third inning while giving up five earned runs in his most recent start Friday in Kansas City, McKenzie now holds a 5.11 ERA and 1.56 WHIP over 75.2 innings on the season. The Guardians will send the right-hander to the minors with the hope that he'll be able to right the ship and eventually slot back into the big-league rotation. Gavin Williams (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list and will fill McKenzie's spot in the rotation during the upcoming week. Rotowire.com Today, 8:52 am
  • Records fourth steal in loss
Raleigh went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in a loss to the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Raleigh is much more renowned for his power than his speed, but he's now up to a career-high four stolen bases with Saturday's swipe. The slugging backstop has reached safely in seven straight games, a stretch during which he owns a .429 on-base percentage thanks in large part to a 25.0 percent walk rate. • Tallies three hits, four RBI
Rojas went 3-for-5 with four RBI and a run scored in Saturday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Rojas recorded RBI singles in two of his first three trips to the plate before also coming around to score himself during a four-run fourth inning for Los Angeles. The shortstop would continue to generate offense throughout the night, finishing with a season-high four RBI. Rojas has now recorded multiple hits in four of his last six games, going 10-for-22 (.454) over that stretch with three doubles, four RBI and five runs scored. He's batting .323 overall in June. • Lifts fourth homer
Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Lowe has four multi-hit efforts over his last nine games, a span that also includes two of his four homers this year. The first baseman has never displayed elite power, but his .369 slugging percentage for the season is low even by his standard. He's at least been fairly consistent at the plate, batting .262 with 27 RBI, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases and 11 doubles over 62 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:18 pm

  • Miguel Rojas plates four as Dodgers top Giants
Miguel Rojas went 3-for-5 and drove in four runs on Saturday night, propelling the Dodgers to a 14-7 victory over the Giants in 11 innings in San Francisco.

Advice: Rojas got the Dodgers on the board in the second inning with an RBI single off of Spencer Howard that plated Andy Pages. He drove in Pages again with an RBI knock in the fourth inning then scored on an RBI single by Will Smith. The 35-year-old shortstop also drove in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning, dropping an RBI single into center field that plated Chris Taylor. He finished his night with a sacrifice fly that capped off a seven-run uprising in the 11th. With his three-hit attack, Rojas is now hitting .297/.346/.446 with three homers, 18 RBI and three stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:07 pm

  • Works around two walks for save
Kimbrel worked around two walks in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Kimbrel, who hadn't walked multiple batters in an outing since May 8, was able to pitch his way out of trouble. He's allowed two runs (one earned) while posting a 13:5 K:BB over 9.1 innings in June, converting six of his seven chances this month. Kimbrel is up to 19 saves with a 2.37 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 44:14 K:BB through 30.1 innings overall. Kimbrel has pitched three of the last four days, so he may not be available if a save situation arises Sunday. With Jacob Webb, Yennier Cano and Cionel Perez also having pitched Friday and Saturday, there could be an opportunity for Dillon Tate or Bryan Baker to get a look in a high-leverage spot. • Lowe has three hits, two-run homer in loss
Nathaniel Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss Saturday to the Orioles.

Advice: Lowe also doubled. The homer was a two-run shot that got the Rangers back in the game to make it a 5-4 score in the sixth. The 28-year-old has not shown a ton of power thus far in 2024, as his .262 average and .348 on-base percentage have been dragged down by just four roundtrippers and a .369 slugging mark over 214 at-bats.
