    Orlando Arcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

    Advice: The home run was Arcia’s sixth of the year, and he’s now up to 21 RBI as well. Both of Arcia’s hits were over 100 mph, but he’s slashing just .235/.257/.385 on the year. Still, he plays pretty much every day for a lineup that still has the potential to put up runs in bunches. That makes him worthy of a roster spot in most fantasy leagues.     Advice: It's the seventh straight scoreless appearance for Bednar, who's allowed just one run over his last 10.1 innings.     Advice: Bednar didn’t allow a hit and also didn’t record a strikeout in the inning. The right-hander has thrown seven straight scoreless outings and has been scoreless in 10 of his last 11 appearances.     Advice: We wonder how Riley Adams feels about being back in Triple-A while performing better than Ruiz both offensively and defensively these last two seasons. The 0-for tonight leaves Ruiz at .199/.239/.288 for 2024. He has to be better than this offensively, but the Nationals seem to be at a complete loss for ideas to improve his defense.     Advice: Diaz threw 21 pitches during his mound session, and manager Carlos Mendoza said afterward that there is a good chance the 30-year-old reliever begins a rehab assignment in the minors Thursday. It's unclear how many minor-league reps the Mets will give their star closer, but the fact Diaz is already able to begin an assignment likely signals that he will only require a minimum-length stint on the IL.     Edwin Díaz (shoulder) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Thursday.

    Advice: Díaz threw a bullpen session on Tuesday without any issues and the Mets are hoping to have one of their primary closing options back on June 11, when first eligible to return. The electrifying 30-year-old righty hit the injured list back in late May with a right shoulder impingement. He’s struggled this season, but remains arguably the best option for New York manager Carlos Mendoza moving forward over Adam Ottavino, Jake Diekman and Reed Garrett.
