      Advice: Washington was being shut out by rookie hurler Spencer Schwellenbach until Thomas tagged him for a three-run homer in the fifth inning. That was the biggest highlight of a very productive performance by the outfielder, who added a couple cherries on top with a pair of steals in the ninth frame.       Advice: Suzuki has gone 8-for-27 (.296) during his six-game hitting streak, though he hasn't posted an extra-base hit since May 15. The outfielder's steal Wednesday was his second of the campaign. He's slashing .254/.312/.389 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 19 runs scored and five doubles over 31 contests. Suzuki isn't having a poor year by any means, especially when factoring in his four-week absence with an oblique injury, but he's also not standing out in any particular area.     • Lane Thomas homers, steals two bases
      Lane Thomas went 3-for-4 with a go-ahead three-run home run, double, walk, two runs scored, and two stolen bases in the Nationals win over the Braves on Wednesday.

      Advice: Thomas has been scorching hot since coming off the IL on Monday going 5-for-13 with four extra-base hits. The stolen bases were his first two since being activated and pushed his total up to 13 on the year despite missing more than a month. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:36 pm

      Kyle Schwarber walloped a leadoff homer and also stole a base on Wednesday, propelling the Phillies to a 6-1 victory over the Giants.

      Advice: Schwarber delivered a tone-setting blast to left-center field right out of the gate against Giants starter Kyle Harrison before reaching on a fielder’s choice and stealing second base a couple frames later. The 31-year-old slugger also added an RBI single in the eighth inning as well to put the cherry on top of a multi-hit performance at Oracle Park, which is one of the toughest ballparks in the league for left-handed batters.     • Jackson Merrill returns to lineup after day off
      Jackson Merrill is back in center field Wednesday after getting the day off against a lefty on Tuesday.

      Advice: The Padres are again facing a lefty, but Merrill has been starting against most of them, even though he’s hitting just .233/.261/.233 in 46 plate appearances against them.       Advice: Benson produced Cincinnati's lone run, taking a Kyle Gibson four-seamer over the fence to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning. It was the eighth homer of the season for Benson, who also provides fantasy value with eight steals.       Will Benson went 1-for-1 with a walk and a solo home run in a loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

      Advice: In one game, we saw the pluses and minuses of the Will Benson experience. He hit a solo home run off Kyle Gibson but was lifted for a pinch hitter in the eighth inning with a left-handed reliever on the mound. The 25-year-old flashed some intriguing power and speed upside last year, but he now has a .199/.300/.416 triple slash and the Reds are happy to remove him in the middle of a game when a lefty comes in.
