    • D-Backs recall Tommy Henry from Reno
Diamondbacks recalled LHP Tommy Henry from Triple-A Reno.

Advice: Henry has posted a 5.40 ERA and 24/11 K/BB over his six starts and 28 1/3 innings with the Diamondbacks this year. The left-hander will likely work as a bulk option behind Scott McGough for Sunday’s tilt against the Padres. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago
    • Robbie Ray (elbow) strikes out five in rehab start
Robbie Ray (elbow) struck out five over two scoreless innings in a rehab appearance in the Arizona Complex League on Saturday.

Advice: Giants manager Bob Melvin reported that Ray’s velocity was “good” and that the southpaw remains on track to return at some point after the All-Star break. Ray has been one of the best bat-missers in the sport when healthy, and while his shaky command will be a concern — especially after missing over a season due to Tommy John surgery — there’s reason to be intrigued by what Ray can provide in the second half of 2024. • Keaton Winn (forearm) activated for start vs. TEX
Giants activated RHP Keaton Winn off the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Winn is back to start Sunday against the Rangers as the Giants go for the sweep in the three-game set. To make room for the 26-year-old on the active roster, the Giants optioned Tyler Fitzgerald to Triple-A Sacramento. Rotoworld Today, 8:12 am

    • Activated for Sunday's start
Winn (forearm) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start against the Rangers on Sunday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: The right-hander landed on the shelf in mid-May with a forearm strain, but he'll rejoin the Giants' rotation after being sidelined for less than a month. Winn delivered three straight quality starts in April but struggled in his final three outings before going to the injured list with 17 runs allowed and a 5:5 K:BB over 8.1 innings. • Allows one run in relief Saturday
Wicks (forearm) allowed one run on three hits across 3.1 innings of relief in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Reds. He walked one and struck out two.

Advice: Wicks was making his first appearance since April 23 after sustaining a forearm strain in his throwing arm. This was also the lefty's first relief outing of the season, as he was serving as the team's fifth starter before he got injured. Rookie Ben Brown has stepped into a starting role and looked pretty good, so it remains to be seen if Wicks is able to rejoin the rotation at some point. His fantasy value would get a boost if that happens, but for now it appears that Brown will keep picking up starts. Rotowire.com Today, 7:47 am
    • Improves to 7-2
Stone (7-2) earned the win over the Yankees on Saturday, allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six batters over 5.2 innings.

Advice: It looked like Stone could be in for a rough outing after he allowed singles to the first two batters he faced in the first inning, but he recovered to retire Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Anthony Rizzo without allowing a run to score. The right-hander allowed New York to plate one run in each of the following two frames, but he was able to navigate through 5.2 innings with just those two runs on his ledger. Stone needed some help when he departed with two outs and the bases full of Yankees in the sixth, and Alex Vesia provided that assistance by getting Anthony Volpe to fly out to end the threat. Stone has recorded a victory in seven of his past 10 starts and has given up more than two runs just once during that span. He's shining in his first full big-league season, recording a 2.93 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 53:21 K:BB through 67.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:27 pm
    • Matt Waldron holds D-Backs to one run over six
Matt Waldron allowed just one run in six innings to get a victory Saturday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Waldron didn’t have to be at his best with the Padres giving 13 runs of support, but he was pretty close to it. He allowed just three hits over his six innings, and he fanned four while issuing two walks. Since his struggles against the D-Backs on May 5, Waldron has been outstanding, and his ERA has lowered from 5.82 to 3.76 in that timeframe. Another chance to lower that mark comes over the weekend against the Mets. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:08 pm
    • Ryne Nelson lit up for six runs in loss to Padres
Ryne Nelson gave up six runs — five earned — in just 3 1/3 innings to get a loss Saturday to the Padres.

Advice: Nelson allowed six hits, and he also issued four walks while locating just 58-of-91 offerings for strikes. The 26-year-old was coming off a strong start against the Giants where he went 7 1/3 innings while allowing just two runs, but this was much more like the majority of his outings have gone. His record drops to 3-5, and his ERA is now a lackluster 5.96 over 51 1/3 innings. He’s a risky streamer even against a bad team like the White Sox next weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:08 pm
    • Gavin Stone holds Yankees to two runs in victory
Gavin Stone limited the Yankees to just two runs over 5 1/3 innings to get a win Saturday.

Advice: Things didn’t start particularly well for Stone, as he gave up a run in the second and then a solo homer in the third. After that, the 25-year-old held the Yankees off the board while picking up his seventh win of the season. He allowed eight hits, but he also struck out six while seeing his ERA bump up slightly to 2.93. Stone is another example of players who struggle in the first go-around who provide fantasy relevance. He gets the Royals next week, barring a change in the rotation order. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:04 pm
