• Could begin hitting this week
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Sunday that he believes Perdomo (knee) will start hitting this week, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.

Advice: Perdomo has already started some baseball activity, including fielding grounders and throwing. A rehab assignment for the shortstop should follow his return to the batting cages, but a timeline for his return to MLB has not yet been established. Rotowire.com 52 minutes ago

  • Homers in blowout win
Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 11-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Westburg did his damage early, lifting a two-run blast in the first inning. He had gone 0-for-7 over the first two games of the weekend series in Cincinnati. The homer was his first since April 21 and his sixth of the year. The infielder has added a strong .286/.336/.513 slash line with 23 RBI, 18 runs scored, four steals, five doubles and two triples through 32 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:05 pm
  • Another three-hit day
Rojas went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base during Sunday's 5-4 win over the Astros.

Advice: Rojas delivered his second consecutive three-hit game, falling a home run short of hitting for the cycle. On the year, Rojas is slashing .360/.442/.587 with three home runs and three steals while striking out at a 13.9 percent clip. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:13 pm

  • Jordan Westburg homers in win over Reds
Jordan Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Westburg jumped on Nick Lodolo in the first inning with a 378-foot home run that left the bat at 101.9 mph. It was Westburg’s sixth home run of the season to go along with 23 RBIs. It’s been a breakout month for the 25-year-old, but he’s seen his triple slash fall to .286/.336/.513 after going 6-for-28 over his last seven games. The quality of contact gains are real but Westburg is swinging and missing a lot more this season, so the batting average may continue to slip a little bit in the coming weeks. • Christopher Morel reaches four times in win Sunday
Christopher Morel singled, drove in a run and drew three walks on Sunday afternoon as the Cubs bested the Brewers.

Advice: The hot-hitting 24-year-old third baseman capped off the scoring in the contest with a two-out RBI single off of Janson Junk in the seventh inning. He also walked three times in the ballgame, but the Cubs were never able to cash him in. On the season, he’s now slashing .220/.312/.431 with seven long balls, 21 RBI and three stolen bases through his first 34 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:42 pm

  • Back to baseball work
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that LeMahieu (foot) recently resumed hitting but that the veteran infielder may not be "that close to being ready for rehab [games]," Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 35-year-old was shut down for a week in late April after he experienced swelling in his foot during a rehab game, and he's now back to taking part in baseball activities. It's an encouraging development following the setback, but LeMahieu still has some work to do in his recovery before again being cleared for minor-league action. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:35 pm

  • Bryan Ramos drives in run in win over Cardinals
Bryan Ramos went 1-for-3 and drove in a run as the White Sox topped the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.

Advice: The 22-year-old infielder picked up his first career RBI on a sacrifice fly in the second inning. He also notched his first career hit with a single in the seventh inning and came around to score on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Robbie Grossman. He’s unlikely to provide much of an impact from a fantasy perspective in a part-time role for the White Sox. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:17 pm
  • Eguy Rosario sent back to Triple-A by Padres
Padres optioned INF Eguy Rosario to Triple-A El Paso.

Advice: Rosario hasn’t seen much playing time, and the infielder will head to Triple-A to likely see more consistent at-bats. Donovan Solano is up to take Rosario’s place on the roster. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:41 pm
