    • Turner accounts for one of two Blue Jays’ hits
Justin Turner went 1-for-3 with a double in the Blue Jays’ loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Turner ended a seven-game hitless streak in this one, but he and the Jays struggled to get the offense going. Toronto managed just two hits and a walk on the evening while striking out nine times as a team. Turner, who hit .300 through the first month of the season, is hitting a dismal .085 in the month of May, going 4-for-47 at the plate. As is the case with many in this lineup, Turner is nearly impossible to trust in fantasy lineups until he can kick this slump. Rotoworld Today, 6:39 pm

    • Not in Tuesday's lineup
Bogaerts (shoulder) is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game in Cincinnati.

Advice: It's no surprise, of course, after Bogaerts suffered a left shoulder injury in the first game of Monday's doubleheader in Atlanta. Initial testing indicated that Bogaerts avoided a dislocation and might not need a stint on the injured list, but he and the Padres are still awaiting the results of other tests. Luis Arraez will handle second base Tuesday and Donovan Solano will be the designated hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 1:12 pm

    • Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) remains out Tuesday
Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Reds.

Advice: Bogaerts was forced to leave Monday’s game against Atlanta with injury, and he’s been diagnosed with shoulder inflammation. The 31-year-old will miss at least one more game, and he should be considered day-to-day at this point. Rotoworld Today, 12:56 pm

    • Xander Bogaerts out with shoulder inflammation
The Padres are calling Xander Bogaerts’ injury left shoulder inflammation.

Advice: It’s an odd diagnosis, being that this was a sudden injury sustained while diving for a ball, but it’s what we’re left with after the Padres couldn’t initially find anything serious going on within the shoulder. He obviously was not included in the lineup for the second game of today’s doubleheader. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:16 pm

    • Initial tests good on Xander Bogaerts’ shoulder
The Padres said that the initial imaging on Xander Bogaerts’ shoulder came back negative.

Advice: Hopefully, this will prove to be a day-to-day situation. We might know more later today. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:17 pm

    • Hitting bench Monday
Grissom is out of the lineup for Monday's game at Tampa Bay, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Advice: Grissom started the previous four games but will take a seat after going 2-for-15 during that stretch. David Hamilton will step in at the keystone and bat seventh in the series opener versus the Rays. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:11 pm

    • Initial imaging returns negative
Bogaerts had preliminary imaging on his left shoulder come back negative Monday, though the Padres are awaiting additional test results, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: The veteran infielder exited Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader after he suffered the injury while making a diving stop at second base. Bogaerts likely won't be available for Monday's nightcap, but he should be considered day-to-day until more information is available. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:44 pm

    • Vaughn Grissom gets a night off on Monday
Vaughn Grissom is not in the Red Sox lineup on Monday.

Advice: David Hamilton will play second base with Ceddanne Rafaela at shortstop. Grissom is off to a rough start to the year, but he’s played in just 13 games after losing 14 pounds while battling the flu. He has just a 20.8 percent strikeout rate and 11 hard-hit baseballs in 13 games but a .171 BABIP. It may take him a while to shake the rust and feel back to full strength, but he’ll be just fine. • Xander Bogaerts leaves game with shoulder injury
Xander Bogaerts left Monday’s game against the Braves with a shoulder injury.

Advice: Bogaerts dove for a ball and came up grabbing his shoulder. While there is no immediate information on the extent of the injury, Bogaerts was removed from the game and was in clear pain. It was a play reminiscent of the one that injured Trevor Story earlier in the year. We’ll wait for more information but losing Bogaerts would be a huge issue for a Padres offense that would likely need to play Donovan Solano and Tyler Wade more often. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:39 am
