    • Goes yard twice against ChiSox
Soto went 4-for-4 with a walk, two home runs and three RBI in Saturday's 6-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: The 25-year-old had his best game yet as a Yankee, taking Brad Keller deep in the first and fifth innings. It was Soto's first multi-hit performance, and first long balls, since May 8, and through 47 games on the season he carries a .317/.414/.561 slash line with 11 homers, four steals, 32 runs and 37 RBI. • Juan Soto homers twice, Yankees crush White Sox
Juan Soto went 4-for-4 with two homers and three RBI to power the Yankees to a 6-1 win over the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Soto blasted a solo homer in the first inning to put the Yankees on the board, his 10th of the season. He drove in another run with a single in the second, then went yard once again to lead off the fifth. A base hit in the eighth would make it a perfect day at the plate. It was the first multi-homer game for Soto as a member of the Yankees. The 25-year-old star outfielder is slashing .317/.414/.561 with 11 homers, 32 runs scored, 37 RBI, and four steals across 215 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:45 pm

    • Homers in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Tigers.

Advice: De La Cruz crushed a two-run, 422-foot homer off Casey Mize in the first inning Wednesday for the only runs scored in the Marlins' shutout victory. De La Cruz has gone just 4-for-24 in his last six games, though he's already up to nine home runs on the season, nearly halfway to the career-high 19 he hit last year. Overall, the 27-year-old outfielder is slashing .256/.304/.456 with 25 runs scored and 24 RBI, both team highs, through his first 194 plate appearances in 2024. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:32 am

    • Bryan De La Cruz goes deep, Marlins edge Tigers
Bryan De La Cruz launched a two-run homer on Wednesday, leading the Marlins to a 2-0 victory over the Tigers.

Advice: De La Cruz supplied the lone runs for either side in a low-scoring Wednesday afternoon matinee at Comerica Park courtesy of a gargantuan 422-foot blast to left-center field off Tigers starter Casey Mize in the opening frame. It was his lone hit in four at-bats and his ninth round-tripper of the season. The 27-year-old corner outfielder has put together a nice breakthrough campaign so far for the struggling Marlins, batting .256 (46-for-180) with 25 runs scored, nine homers, 24 RBI and one steal through 45 contests. • Jackson Chourio swats 441-foot homer in blowout
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer on Wednesday in the Brewers’ blowout win over the Pirates.

Advice: Chourio obliterated a 441-foot no-doubter to left field off Pirates veteran lefty Martín Pérez in the sixth inning for his fifth round-tripper of the season. The 20-year-old top prospect has undoubtedly been scuffling at the plate recently, but this was the type of moonshot that could potentially get him going again. It was his first time leaving the yard since April 20. He’s still a work in progress, but he’s shown flashes of immense five-category fantasy upside so far in his Brewers debut. It’s only a matter of time before he makes the leap to superstardom. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:56 pm
    • Gets fourth straight start
Chourio will start in left field and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Chourio was on the bench for a stretch of four straight games from last Wednesday through Saturday, but he's now picked up starts in each of the subsequent four contests. Though he's reached base only twice over his last nine contests and carries a weak .579 OPS for the season into Wednesday's game, Chourio could nonetheless continue to see near-everyday playing time while Jake Bauers sees less time in the corner outfield and fills in at first base for the injured Rhys Hoskins (hamstring). Additionally, the struggling Blake Perkins -- who sat against right-handed starting pitchers both of the previous two days -- seems to have moved into more of a fourth-outfielder role of late. • Power trending up
Arozarena went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored Tuesday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Arozarena slugged his eighth home run of the season and fifth in his last 11 games. He's also stolen three bags in that span. While his counting stats have been trending positively, Arozarena has still struck out at a 31.5 percent clip in May, leading to a .205 batting average for the month. • Takes soft toss Monday
Edman (wrist) took soft toss Monday as he continues his hitting progression, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Advice: Edman has gone from tee work to soft toss and will progress to facing live pitching once he's ready for the next step. The switch hitter is being slow-played following complications in his recovery from right wrist surgery and still appears to be pretty far off from beginning a rehab assignment. • Jackson Chourio goes 0-for-2 in return to lineup
After sitting out four straight games, Jackson Chourio went 0-for-2 with a walk in his return to the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Chourio had a nicely hit liner, but it was caught by Brandon Crawford at short. The Brewers could have sent Chourio down last week, but they thought the break to work on things was a better idea. One imagines he’ll have to turn things around over the next 7-10 days in order to avoid a stint in Triple-A. Rotoworld May 12, 3:46 pm
