      Abreu (right ankle sprain) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to June 3, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

      Advice: Abreu will be sidelined for a little over a week after spraining his ankle in the Red Sox's dugout Sunday.       Advice: Abreu twisted his right ankle in the dugout during Sunday's game and the injury seems to be severe enough to warrant a significant absence, although exactly how long Abreu will be out remains to be seen.
