    Giants manager Bob Melvin said Lee is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game in Colorado due to a sore foot which is the result of a foul ball off his leg in Wednesday's contest, Manny Randhawa of MLB.com reports.

    Braves acquired INF Zack Short from the Red Sox in exchange for cash considerations.

    Advice: Rocchio's first RBI since April 23 came on a walk-off hit. The Tigers brought an outfielder in to crowd the infield, but Rocchio found a gap to center field to complete the Guardians' comeback.
