  • Dealing with thumb injury
Friedl suffered a right thumb contusion in Sunday's matchup with the Giants, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Friedl was hit by a pitch in the top of the first inning, exiting the contest after getting some work in the hitting cages before the bottom of the frame. The outfielder appears to have avoided any fractures in his thumb and he can be considered day-to-day for the time being. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago
  • Wisdom has three hits, HR in win over Pirates
Patrick Wisdom went 3-for-4 with a home run in the Cubs’ win over the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: Wisdom laced a solo home run off Aroldis Chapman in the 10th inning that traveled 412 feet and left the bat at 106.8 mph. He also had a 105.5 mph single off Bailey Falter earlier in the game. The Cubs are only using him against left-handed pitching but that has helped his results so far this season, so he can be useful in deeper formats if the Cubs face a collection of lefties in a given week. • Suffers left shoulder strain
Lee exited Sunday's contest against the Reds in the first inning with a left shoulder strain, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Lee was forced to leave Sunday's series finale with Cincinnati after he ran into the outfield wall after suffering what is now understood to be a left shoulder strain. The 25-year-old now appears set for an extended absence after making his return from a foot injury Sunday. If Lee ultimately ends up on the injured list, Tyler Fitzgerald would stand to see an increase in workload in San Francisco's outfield. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago
  • Connor Joe has two hits, HR in loss to Cubs
Connor Joe went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double in a loss to the Cubs on Sunday.

Advice: Joe had a big 10th-inning home run off Adbert Alzolay that left the bat at 109.4 mpg and brought the Pirates to within one. He also had a 102 mph double earlier in the game and has been seeing the ball well. He also made five starts for the Pirates this week and has been starting to play more regularly, which would be huge for his fantasy value. If he can continue to draw semi-regular starts against right-handed pitchers, he can be scooped up in all 15-team formats. Rotoworld 21 minutes ago
  • Jesús Sánchez has two hits in win over Phillies
Jesús Sánchez went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 7-6 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Sánchez looked good at the dish with a 107.7 mph double in the second inning and his only two outs being a 110.7 mph lineout that had an xBA of .840 and a 105 mph fly out with an xBA of .930 that would have been a home run in 10 MLB stadiums. However, despite that, he was removed for a pinch hitter in the 10th inning with a lefty on the mound as Emmanuel Rivera knocked in the game-winning run. Sánchez’s upside is thus limited since he won’t face lefties at all, but he could provide value in daily moves leagues while hitting in the middle of the order for the Marlins. • Jazz Chisholm picks up two hits in win over Phillies
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, and an RBI in a win over the Phillies.

Advice: Jazz laces a 102 mph double off of Zack Wheeler in the third inning that got a three-run inning started and later tripled off Wheeler in the fourth inning to drive in a run. The Marlins’ leadoff hitter had hits in every game but one this week, going 8-for-23 with a home run, a steal, and two RBI. He also only scored three runs all week despite those stats, so the Marlins’ inconsistent offense is going to impact his fantasy value a bit going forward. Rotoworld 39 minutes ago
  • David Fry hits two-run homer, reaches three times
David Fry hit a two-run homer and walked twice Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: The Guardians barely played Fry against righties during the season’s first five weeks, but this is the third time in the last four such games that he’s been included in the lineup and his homer today came off a righty in Mike Soroka. He should be a top-15 fantasy catcher if the Guardians keep using him like this. Rotoworld 42 minutes ago

  • Eloy Jiménez goes 0-for-4 as slump continues
Eloy Jiménez went 0-for-4 on Sunday, leaving him 7-for-48 over this last 12 games.

Advice: Jiménez seemed to find his stroke in late April, going 13-for-37 with three homers in a nine-game span. Since then, though, he’s batting just .146. It’s not because he’s striking out much; he’s fanned a total of eight times in the 12 games. His exit velocity numbers remain solid, but he’s going to need to be considerably better than this to amass fantasy value with such an awful lineup around him. Rotoworld 42 minutes ago
  • Aaron Judge homers in win over Rays
Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 10-6 win over the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: Judge’s homer was a 374-foot shot that left the bat at 106.7 mph. In fact, Judge had three of the five hardest-hit balls of the day, including a 109.9 mph single in the first inning and a 106.7 mph flyout in the eighth inning that had a .770 xBA and would have been a home run in 10 MLB stadiums. The Yankees slugger is not off to a great start to the season, but he went 7-for-21 this week with three home runs and seven RBI, so perhaps he’s starting to feel like himself a bit.
