    • On bench versus righty
Laureano is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Laureano had started each of the first two games in right field for Atlanta after Michael Harris (hamstring) was hurt, but Adam Duvall will shift over to right and Forrest Wall will handle left field in this one. It's a fluid situation as Atlanta tries to piece together its outfield over the next few weeks. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago
    • Drawing start in left field
Wall will start in left field and bat eighth in Monday's game versus the Tigers.

Advice: After receiving a promotion earlier Monday, Wall is immediately thrown into an Atlanta starting lineup that's been hit hard by injuries recently. It's possible he could see some regular reps in the outfield against righties with Michael Harris (hamstring) joining Ronald Acuna (knee) on the injured list, but it's a fluid situation. • Heads to Triple-A
The Phillies optioned Rojas to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday.

Advice: Rojas has regressed majorly at the plate this season, slashing just .235/.271/.295 over 58 games. He also hasn't been quite as good defensively, either, and has made some mistakes on the basepaths. With Rojas headed to the minors, the Phillies will go with Brandon Marsh and Cristian Pache as their primary options in center field and David Dahl and Whit Merrifield in left field. • Taking seat versus lefty
Burleson is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: After starting in each of the Cardinals' last 29 games, Burleson will finally get a break in the series opener in Miami. With southpaw Braxton Garrett on the bump for Miami, Cardinals skipper Oliver Marmol likely viewed it as an opportune time to give the lefty-hitting Burleson a day off. Dylan Carlson will step in for Burleson in right field. Rotowire.com 45 minutes ago

    • Unlikely to return this week
Giants manager Bob Melvin said Sunday that it's likely a "stretch" for Wade (hamstring) to return from the 10-day injured list before Thursday's matchup with the Cardinals at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Ala., MLB.com reports.

Advice: Wade was diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain after suffering the injury while sliding into second base in a May 27 win over the Phillies. Though a Grade 2 strain often entails a recovery timeline of more than a month, Wade said last week that his goal was to make it back for MLB's June 20 Negro Leagues tribute game as the Giants' designated hitter. Wade took steps forward this past week by taking batting practice on the field and increasing the intensity of his running progression, but the 30-year-old looks like he'll still at least one week away from being a realistic option to return from the IL. Wilmer Flores should continue to serve as the Giants' primary first baseman while Wade remains out. Rotowire.com Today, 11:18 am

    • Handling Triple-A
Meadows is slashing .276/.377/.520 with seven home runs, 13 steals and a 20.5 percent strikeout rate in 151 plate appearances for Triple-A Toledo.

Advice: Meadows flopped after making the team as the everyday center fielder to start the season, slashing .096/.224/.219 with a 37.6 percent strikeout rate in 32 games before being optioned to Triple-A on May 6. He doesn't turn 25 until November and is hitting the ball pretty hard (33.0 Hard%) while making contact at an acceptable 75.6 percent clip since being sent to Triple-A for a reset. Wenceel Perez has a .512 OPS over his last 20 games with the big club, and Meadows is a superior defender to Perez, so perhaps Detroit could look to make a roster move in the coming days/weeks. • On base four times Sunday
Martinez went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Advice: The veteran DH was a key part of the Mets' 11-run eruption Sunday, and Martinez enjoyed a huge weekend overall against San Diego -- he went 6-for-9 at the plate with two doubles, two homers, six RBI and nine runs, and he reached base in 10 straight plate appearances during the three-game set. The 36-year-old is slashing .293/.363/.518 on the season with eight home runs and 27 RBI in 44 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 9:59 am
    • Three hits against Padres
Nimmo went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over San Diego.

Advice: Batting second once again, Nimmo reeled off his third straight multi-hit performance. The 31-year-old has heated up in June, slashing .300/.352/.400 through 54 plate appearances, but his homer drought sits at 23 games. Nimmo's gone yard just seven times so far in 2024, a disappointing showing after he slugged a career-high 24 homers last season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:53 am
    • Swipes first big-league bag
Barger went 2-for-4 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Guardians.

Advice: Getting the start in right field and batting seventh, Barger stole the first bag of his MLB career after he led off the second inning with a single. The 24-year-old has started two straight games since his latest promotion, one in right and one at third base, and he's gone 3-for-7 with two RBI and a 1:2 BB:K. Barger could be in line for consistent playing time against right-handed pitching as the Jays look for an offensive spark. Rotowire.com Today, 9:21 am
