• Takes tough loss
Wilson (2-1) allowed one run on four hits and two walks over six innings Monday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Rays.

Advice: Wilson coughed up a run in the first inning but finished his night with five straight scoreless frames. It was the first time this season he finished at least five innings and he dropped his season ERA to 3.00 through 24 innings. Wilson forced 10 whiffs Monday after totaling just nine over his previous three appearances (9.1 innings). Wilson is currently slated to face the Cubs on the road this weekend. • Escapes with save
Adam allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning Monday. He struck out two and earned a save over the Brewers.

Advice: Adam also hit a batter and faced a bases-loaded situation with two outs but still narrowly finished off the 1-0 win. It was his first save of the year after blowing his only other chance April 5 against the Rockies. Adam now owns a 1.29 ERA with a 12:4 K:BB and seven holds through 14 innings. • Belts fourth homer
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 7-2 loss to the Nationals.

Advice: He spoiled Jake Irvin's attempt at a shutout by launching a fastball over the fence in center field in the sixth inning. Chisholm has gone yard in back-to-back games on the heels of a 17-game homer drought, and the 26-year-old could be catching fire. On the season, he's slashing .245/.339/.406 with four homers, five steals, 13 runs and 17 RBI in 29 contests. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago

  • Nolan Jones likely headed to IL with back injury
Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports that Nolan Jones (back) is likely headed to the injured list.

Advice: Jones was removed from Sunday’s game with stiffness in his back. The 25-year-old will be replaced on the roster by prospect Jordan Beck, with the transaction likely announced Tuesday. Jones has been a disappointment this year, and now he’ll miss at least a week while recovering from the back ailment. Rotoworld 30 minutes ago

  • Remains winless
Rogers (0-4) took the loss Monday, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks over five innings as the Marlins fell 7-2 to the Nationals. He struck out three.

Advice: The southpaw threw 55 of 89 pitches for strikes before exiting, and all three of the free passes he issued came in the fifth inning -- including one to Jesse Winker with the bases loaded. Rogers has gone at least five innings in all six of his starts so far this season but has yet to complete six frames, and he'll take a 4.31 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 27:12 K:BB through 31.1 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road this weekend in Oakland. • Turns in scoreless outing
Pepiot (3-2) yielded two hits over six shutout frames Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Pepiot was nearly untouchable Monday, allowing just one Brewer to reach scoring position. At one point, he retired 14 consecutive batters. He's produced three straight quality starts and four in his six appearances this year. Over his last outings, Pepiot has given up just two runs with an 18:5 K:BB through 18 innings. He'll carry a 3.12 ERA into his next start, which is projected to be at home against the Mets this weekend. Rotowire.com 35 minutes ago

  • Runs wild again Monday
Young went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases in Monday's 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Both pilfers came in the fifth inning, as Young stole second then teamed up with CJ Abrams on a double steal after the shortstop drew a walk. Young's 12 stolen bases on the season are third in the majors behind Elly De La Cruz (18) and Brice Turang (13), and he's slashing .328/.368/.391 through 21 games. Victor Robles (hamstring) is set to begin a rehab assignment this week as he nears his return from the IL, but Young seems to have a firm hold on the starting job in center field for the Nationals. • Records first win
Leiter (1-1) retired the only two batters he faced out of the bullpen to earn the win in Monday's 3-1 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Starter Jameson Taillon was excellent over 7.1 innings, but the Cubs turned to Leiter to get the last two outs of the eighth. The veteran righty delivered, then scooped up his first win of the year when Christopher Morel hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth. Leiter has been excellent all year, posting a 0.69 ERA and 13 strikeouts across 13 innings. He should continue to work in a setup role ahead of new closer Hector Neris, though he could be next up for saves if Neris falters. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago
  • Productive in big win
Abrams went 1-for-3 with two walks, a two-run home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: The 23-year-old shortstop was once again the engine of the Nationals' offense from the leadoff spot, as Abrams took Trevor Rogers deep in the third inning then teamed up with Jacob Young for a double steal in the fifth. Abrams has reached base safely in 15 straight games, and on the season he's slashing .297/.377/.634 with seven homers, six stolen bases, 17 RBI and 21 runs in 25 contests. Rotowire.com 40 minutes ago
