    Braxton Garrett (shoulder) struck out 13 batters over 5 2/3 innings in a rehab start Monday in the Florida Complex League.

    Advice: Garrett didn’t allow a run and gave up just one hit. It’s really not fair to FCL hitters they had to face a talent like the 26-year-old, but the Marlins wanted Garrett to get one more rehab start. His next outing should come at the MLB level. Rotoworld 24 minutes ago

    Advice: Bido has been really good this season with Vegas in a difficult pitching environment, posting a 2.59 ERA and 39:13 K:BB across 31.1 innings of work.     A.J. Puk (shoulder) struck out two batters over a scoreless inning in a rehab appearance Monday in the Florida Complex League.

    Advice: Puk is going to work out of the bullpen whenever he comes back from his shoulder injury, and the left-hander has looked solid thus far in his rehab appearances. The 29-year-old has had success in that relief role, and if the Marlins were to move closer Taylor Scott — something that has been rumored as of late — he could be inline for save chances.     Garrett (shoulder) struck out 13 batters and allowed one hit and one walk over 5.2 scoreless innings in his rehab start Monday for the Marlins' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate.

    Advice: Though he was facing off against a lineup consisting mostly of teenage hitters, Garrett was dominant nonetheless in what was likely his fifth and final minor-league rehab start. Garrett, who has been on the 15-day injured list all season while recovering from a left shoulder impingement, will likely be activated this weekend to start Saturday or Sunday versus the Phillies for what will be his 2024 debut with the Marlins.     Advice: Bubic is working his way back from last April's Tommy John surgery and is finally ready to pitch in games again. It's possible he could be ready to rejoin the big club in early June after his 30-day rehab window expires, but Bubic does have options left so the Royals could keep him in the minors indefinitely if he doesn't look ready.     Puk (shoulder) made the second appearance of his rehab assignment with the Marlins' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate Monday, striking out two over a scoreless inning.

    Advice: Puk has turned in identical two-strikeout perfect innings in the FCL since he started up his rehab assignment Friday. The left-hander broke camp as a member of the Miami rotation, but after turning in a 9.22 ERA and 2.63 WHIP over his four starts before landing on the injured list April 20 with shoulder fatigue, he'll work out of the bullpen once the Marlins activate him.
