      Advice: Civale was sharp Friday, blanking the Orioles for five innings before he was ultimately charged with a lone run in the sixth. The 28-year-old Civale has been pitching better of late, allowing just three runs over 10.1 innings in his last two starts after struggling to an 8.48 ERA over his previous six outings. Overall, he's 2-4 on the year with a 5.37 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 60:18 K:BB across 62 innings. Civale's currently lined up for a rematch with Baltimore at home in his next start.       Advice: Despite generating 16 whiffs out of his 98 total pitches, Cease managed to strike out only five, tying a season low also reached May 20 against Atlanta and April 27 against Philadelphia. The Padres ace was cruising through five innings, allowing just two baserunners; however, he unraveled in a 25-pitch sixth inning, allowing four baserunners and departing with just one out.       Advice: Fedde gave up nine of the 23 hits the Brew Crew picked up Friday, and four of the six walks. The right-hander was able to at least pick up some punchouts, but that’s the end of the positives. Fedde was outstanding last week with 6 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball against Baltimore, but he’s just not good enough to rely on consistent results.       Dylan Cease allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Friday.

      Advice: Cease was pretty great to begin the year, posting a 2.19 ERA in his first eight starts, but this makes four straight outings that have missed the quality-start threshold.
