• Xander Bogaerts leaves game with shoulder injury
Xander Bogaerts left Monday’s game against the Braves with a shoulder injury.

Advice: Bogaerts dove for a ball and came up grabbing his shoulder. While there is no immediate information on the extent of the injury, Bogaerts was removed from the game and was in clear pain. It was a play reminiscent of the one that injured Trevor Story earlier in the year. We’ll wait for more information but losing Bogaerts would be a huge issue for a Padres offense that would likely need to play Donovan Solano and Tyler Wade more often. Rotoworld Today, 11:39 am

  • Activated from injured list
The Rays activated Lowe (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Advice: Lowe had his return from an oblique strain delayed when he had a little setback, but he returned to action on his rehab assignment in recent days and now appears back to 100 percent. He had a .600 OPS with one home run in eight games before getting hurt and will regain his role as Tampa Bay's regular second baseman against right-handers. Rotowire.com Today, 11:38 am

  • Leaves game with shoulder injury
Bogaerts was removed from Monday's game in Atlanta with an apparent left shoulder injury, Sammy Levitt of 973 The Fan reports.

Advice: Bogaerts landed awkwardly while making a diving stop at second base in the third inning and looked to be in considerable pain immediately. He walked off the field under his own power and now could be headed for testing. Bogaerts was retired in his lone plate appearance before departing. Rotowire.com Today, 10:23 am

  • Plates pair in Sunday's loss
Urias sent 2-for-4 with an RBI single, a run-scoring double and a run in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Urias accounted for almost all of the Mariners' offense on the afternoon, plating Luke Raley and Dylan Moore with a single and double, respectively. The 26-year-old snapped an 0-for-15 skid that had encompassed his previous seven games, and his multi-hit effort was his first of a season where he's still carrying an abysmal .162/.279/.338 across 86 plate appearances. • Danny Mendick starts fourth straight games
Danny Mendick is making his fourth straight start at third base on Monday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: The 30-year-old has come off the IL and immediately stepped into an everyday role, which is interesting since he’s slashing .224/.255/.367 with a 27.5 percent strikeout rate in 13 games this season. It’s a lost season for the White Sox and Mendick is not on fantasy radars. Rotoworld Today, 8:58 am

  • Belts two-run shot
Gimenez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's win over Minnesota.

Advice: Gimenez went deep for a two-run blast in the first inning. He's hit three home runs over his last 18 games after beginning the year in a 26-game drought. Gimenez has gone 12-for-24 over his last six games, boosting his slash line to .277/.337/.387 with 12 extra-base hits and seven steals. He's hitting .300 with a .795 OPS and a 6:8 BB:K over his last 20 appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:19 am

  • Yankees option Oswald Peraza to Triple-A
Yankees activated INF Oswald Peraza from the 10-day injured list; optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: Peraza was placed on the IL with a shoulder strain during spring training, which gave Oswaldo Cabrera the chance to compete for a starting job. The Yankees also traded for Jon Berti, so the infield has gotten a bit crowded. Peraza will try to get his timing back at Triple-A, but there doesn’t appear to be any path for him to make it back to the big leagues unless there’s an injury to any of the players ahead of him. • First hit since return
Mendick went 1-for-3 with a double Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: Mendick was activated from the injured list Friday and has since started all three games at third base while hitting in the bottom third of the order. He collected his first hit since returning with a double in the seventh frame. With Bryan Ramos (quadriceps) sidelined, Mendick should have a clear path to playing time in the short term. • IL decision likely imminent
Polanco (hamstring), who was out of the lineup for a fifth straight game Sunday, did some explosive running drills before the series finale against the Orioles but could still be placed on the injured list in coming days, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Despite Polanco upping his activity level Sunday, manager Scott Servais confirmed the veteran infielder is still not moving around at full speed. As such, the Mariners could make a decision on whether to place Polanco on the IL as early as Monday when the team opens a four-game series against the Yankees. Servais conceded Sunday that Polanco was feeling better and has progressed to swinging a bat without discomfort, but given the lingering nature of hamstring injuries, an IL stint might still be necessary to ensure a full recovery.
