• Jo Adell mashes two-run homer in loss to Twins
Jo Adell went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Saturday in the Angels’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Twins.

Advice: The homer came off Twins starter Chris Paddack in the second inning of an eventual blowout loss. To his credit, Adell has displayed remarkably improved plate skills through 20 games this season, striking out just 21.6 percent of the time so far. The important caveat is that it’s still too early to make any definitive statements, but he’s clearly showing some improvement in the contact department. He’s up to three homers and five steals already and figures to continue (finally) playing everyday for Los Angeles. There’s definitely 20-homer, 20-steal upside, if his plate skills continue to improve. Rotoworld 59 minutes ago

  • Bryan Reynolds homers to lift Pirates past Giants
Bryan Reynolds walloped a tie-breaking two-run homer in the 10th inning on Saturday, leading the Pirates to a 4-3 extra-inning victory over the Giants.

Advice: Reynolds went deep off Giants lefty reliever Taylor Rogers in extra innings, going deep for the second time in his last four contests. He also has a pair of multi-hit performances during that span. The 29-year-old outfielder has been one of the most consistent five-category impact contributors in the fantasy landscape for years now and has shown zero signs of slowing down. • Jorge Soler connects for two-run homer in loss
Jorge Soler crushed a two-run homer on Saturday in the Giants’ extra-inning loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Soler hasn’t quite found his groove at the dish this season in his Giants debut, but Saturday’s extra-inning round-tripper off Pirates closer David Bednar -- his fifth long ball of the season -- might help get him going again. The 32-year-old slugger’s plate skills have been right in line with career norms, so it feels like only a matter of time before he really heats up. Rotoworld Today, 4:02 am

  • Productive from bottom of order
Raley went 2-for-3 with an RBI single and a stolen base in a win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: Hitting eighth and playing left field, Raley drew his fourth start in five games Saturday night and delivered in the low-scoring victory, driving the Mariners' first run of the game in the fifth inning with a timely knock. Raley also swiped his first base of the season, and he was able to get his average back over the Mendoza line (.204) with what was his second multi-hit effort in the last five games. • Swipes home in win
Kwan went 2-for-5 with two runs and a stolen base Saturday in an extra-inning victory versus Atlanta.

Advice: Kwan's speed was on display throughout the contest, as neither of his base knocks left the infield and he crossed the plate on a steal of home in the eighth inning. The third-year outfielder had had an impressive beginning to the campaign, notching at least one hit in 17 of his 26 contests. He's slashing .345/.378/.469 with three homers, eight RBI, 25 runs and three thefts through 119 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm
  • Posts big stat line in loss
Palacios went 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs, two RBI, three walks and two stolen bases in Saturday's extra-inning loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Palacios put up a salivating fantasy stat line Saturday, reaching base six times and contributing both a two-run homer and a pair of steals. The outfielder had been in a bit of a slump coming in, collecting just one hit over his previous 11 at-bats. Palacios has had a solid season overall though, slashing .298/.429/.491 with three homers, five RBI, 13 runs, three thefts and a 12:18 BB:K while largely serving on the strong side of a right-field platoon in the absence of Josh Lowe (oblique/hamstring). • Cranks two homers in victory
Benintendi went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and six RBI in Saturday's extra-inning win over the Rays.

Advice: Benintendi's huge game came out of nowhere -- not only were the two long balls his first two of the campaign, but the multi-hit effort was his first such performance since April 15. The veteran outfielder's power had dropped off dramatically in recent seasons, as he swatted just 10 home runs over 277 contests across 2022 and 2023. Saturday's performance was the sixth multi-homer effort of Benintendi's career, and his six RBI tied a career high, while the walk-off blast was his first as a major-leaguer. • Productive in 2024 debut
Cabbage went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI on Saturday against the Rockies.

Advice: Cabbage was called up to serve as Houston's 27th man for the Mexico City Series, and he was immediately slotted into the lineup to make his 2024 debut. He delivered the RBI knock in his first plate appearance, though he was pulled in the sixth inning in favor of pinch hitter Mauricio Dubon. Cabbage will almost certainly be back with Triple-A Sugar Land after the team's weekend series abroad, where he's maintained a .271 batting average while also striking out 31.9 percent of the time across 91 plate appearances. • Aaron Judge homers as Yanks crush Brewers
Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a blowout win Saturday over the Brewers.

Advice: Judge shellacked a two-run blast in the sixth inning for his fifth homer of the season. The 32-year-old has not enjoyed the best start to the season with a .190/.328/.390 slash, but it’s impossible to be too concerned with those numbers based on Judge’s track record.
