      Drury (hamstring) has responded well to recent baseball activities and is likely to head out on a rehab assignment during the week of June 10, per MLB.com.

      Advice: Drury hasn't played since injuring his left hamstring May 8, but he's recently progressed to running and participating in full baseball activities, including taking groundballs and hitting on the field. The veteran infielder hasn't had any setbacks while taking part in that work and thus appears just about ready to head out on a rehab stint.       Advice: Santander's slow start to the season stood out compared to most of the rest of the Orioles, but he's warmed up significantly. Over his last 15 games, the outfielder is hitting .291 (16-for-55) with six homers and 11 RBI. He's homered in four of his last seven contests and now has a .227/.306/.472 slash line with 13 long balls, 36 RBI, 33 runs scored and no stolen bases over 58 games this season.       Manny Machado (hip) was held out of the lineup for Friday’s game against the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Machado made a pinch-hit appearance during Thursday’s series opener against Arizona, but wasn’t needed during Friday’s one-sided affair.       Advice: The shortstop took Nick Lodolo deep in the sixth inning, but the Cubs were already in a 3-0 hole at that point. Swanson is beginning to show faint signs of life at the plate -- while he's batting just .233 (7-for-30) over the last eight games, four of those hits have gone for extra bases, including two of his six homers on the year.       Advice: The veteran closer let his defense do the work, getting outs on a flyball, a groundball and a popup in foul territory. Kimbrel hasn't been tagged with an earned run in 10 straight appearances, converting all six of his save chances during that stretch with a 10:0 K:BB as he puts his early-season struggles behind him.       Advice: The Rangers tied the game at 2-2 in the fifth inning, but Conforto's seventh-inning blast put the Giants ahead for good. The outfielder has slumped since returning from a hamstring injury, going 2-for-14 over four contests, but his long ball Friday could spark his bat. Overall, he's at a .268/.324/.478 slash line with eight homers, 22 RBI, 21 runs scored, seven doubles, one triple and no stolen bases through 42 games. Conforto should continue to see a starting role in left field, though he could be squeezed out of the lineup versus some southpaws to accommodate the red-hot Heliot Ramos.
