• Sitting Tuesday
Keith is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Miami.

Advice: Keith will yield to right-handed Andy Ibanez on Tuesday as the Tigers face southpaw Ryan Weathers. In May, Keith is batting .250 with five RBi and three runs scored across nine games. Rotowire.com Today, 1:10 pm

  • Sitting versus southpaw
Julien is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: With left-handed Carlos Rodon toeing the slab for the Yankees, the lefty-swinging Julien will yield to Kyle Farmer at second base. Julien has made just two starts versus southpaws this season. Rotowire.com Today, 12:12 pm
  • Lengthy power outage
Amador is slashing .138/.312/.149 with zero home runs, 12 steals and more walks (19) than strikeouts (17) in 25 games for Double-A Hartford.

Advice: Coming into the year, Amador was seen as one of the best pure hitters in the minors, so it's a bit jarring to see his batting average sitting at .138 through the first five weeks of the season. Perhaps more concerning though, is Amador's complete lack of power, as his .171 BABIP and overly patient approach largely explain his low batting average. Amador's 20.6 percent hard-hit rate and 63.2 percent groundball rate are very troubling marks. He is playing half his games in Hartford, which is essentially a neutral hitting environment, after getting to play half his High-A games at the very hitter-friendly park in Spokane, which helped him slug .514 in 54 High-A games last year. • Jorge Polanco leaves with hamstring tightness
Jorge Polanco was removed from Monday’s game against the Royals with tightness in his right hamstring.

Advice: Polanco exited the game and was replaced by Luis Urias, with Urias taking over at third and Josh Rojas moving to second. It’s a concerning development, especially for a hitter that has battled injuries over the last few years. There should be a further update on Polanco before Tuesday’s game against Kansas City. • Leaves with hamstring issue
Polanco was removed from Monday's game against the Royals due to right hamstring tightness.

Advice: The severity of Polanco's injury is unclear, though he's likely headed for further testing. Josh Rojas and Luis Urias could see more opportunities at second base if Polanco is forced to miss additional time. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:36 pm

  • Exits with toe injury
Morel left Monday's game against Atlanta after fouling a ball off his left foot, and he's been diagnosed with a left toe injury, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Morel is reportedly dealing with bumps and bruises, per Lee, so this appears to be a day-to-day type of injury. The Cubs should know more about his availability for the rest of the week after re-evaluating him Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:25 pm
  • Christopher Morel exits with toe bruise
Christopher Morel exited Monday’s game because of a toe injury, the result of fouling a ball off his foot.

Advice: No word yet on whether he’ll be getting X-rays. Morel is also playing through some knee soreness in his other leg, so maybe he’ll DH if he plays Tuesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:21 pm
  • Activation appears imminent
Gelof (oblique) rejoined the Athletics on Monday and could be activated from the 10-day injured list during their four-game series in Houston, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Gelof played consecutive full rehab games with Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday and Sunday, which was the last box he needed to check before returning to the big club. The Athletics seem content to give Gelof a rest day Monday before likely activating him ahead of Tuesday's contests. Gelof has been out since late April with a strained left oblique. • One of three sick Toronto players
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Turner is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles due to an illness, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Turner's absence from the lineup for Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Twins was believed to be for maintenance purposes while he was in the midst of a 1-for-22 slump at the plate over his previous five starts, but he's apparently a victim of the bug that seems to be making its way around the Toronto clubhouse. He'll be on the bench for a second straight day Monday, while George Springer and Kevin Kiermaier are out of the lineup for the third and fourth time, respectively, in the four games due to illnesses of their own.
