• Bryson Stott homers twice in win over Padres
Bryson Stott crushed a pair of two-run homers on Sunday, powering the Phillies to an 8-6 victory over the Padres.

Advice: Stott opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 395-foot (105.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Michael King in the second inning. He replicated that feat in the fourth inning — this time a 396-foot (103.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of King that gave the Phillies a 4-3 lead. He also grounded into a fielder’s choice in the eighth inning, swiped second base and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Johan Rojas. With the monster day at the dish, the 26-year-old second baseman is now hitting .226/.295/.369 with three homers, 14 RBI and four stolen bases in what has otherwise been a disappointing season. • Jose Altuve hits seventh homer in Astros’ victory
Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk and three runs scored as the Astros topped the Rockies 8-2 in Mexico City on Sunday.

Advice: Altuve’s homer projected at 438 feet, his longest blast since Oct. 7, 2020. He hadn’t hit a ball farther than 404 feet this season, though that hadn’t stopped him from amassing six homers coming into the day. He’s batting .342/.414/.596 in 128 plate appearances. • Mauricio Dubón goes 0-for-4 against Rockies
Mauricio Dubón went 0-for-4 as the Astros’ center fielder Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Jake Meyers isn’t supposed to be hurt, but he hasn’t started since taking a pitch off his forearm on Wednesday. Dubón has played center field in two of the last three games, while Chas McCormick slid over to center on Saturday. Dubón’s .279/.302/.393 line isn’t anything special, and while he’s fine there, he’s not quite the center fielder that Meyers is. He really shouldn’t be getting the majority of the playing time. • Launches homer in loss
Paredes went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Paredes took Erick Fedde deep for a solo shot in the top of the fourth, giving Tampa Bay an early 1-0 lead. He later singled and came around to score in the top of the ninth on a double from Harold Ramirez. The homer was the 25-year-old's seventh of the season and second in his last five games. Since April 14, Paredes has batted .314 with three home runs, seven RBI and seven runs scored over 51 at-bats in 13 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:17 pm
  • Goes deep, swipes bag
Altuve went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, three runs scored, a walk and a steal in Sunday's win over Colorado.

Advice: Altuve singled and scored after swiping third base in the first inning. He then drilled a solo shot in the third. The star infielder had been in a short slump recently, going 6-for-30 (.200) with one extra-base hit over his previous seven games. Still, he's sporting a strong .342/.414/.596 slash line with four steals, 15 extra-base hits and 21 runs scored through 28 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:02 pm
  • Josh Rojas smacks leadoff homer in loss to D’Backs
Josh Rojas smacked a leadoff home run against his former club on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Mariners to victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Rojas stepped into the leadoff spot over the weekend with J.P. Crawford on the injured list, and he responded by crushing a pair of leadoff home runs — one on Friday night and another to open the home half of the first inning on Sunday. That one, was a 349-foot (102.8 mph EV) blast off of Brandon Pfaadt. Rojas finished the day 1-for-3 and is now hitting .297/.366/.516 with three homers, six RBI and one stolen base on the season. He plays everyday against right-handed pitching and could be worth a look in deeper mixed leagues, especially while he’s hitting atop the M’s lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:02 pm
  • Outrighted to Triple-A
Alu cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Alu was designated for assignment Tuesday and will stick in the organization after he went unclaimed on waivers. The 27-year-old struggled to .538 OPS in 65 plate appearances at Rochester before he lost his place on Washington's 40-man roster. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:22 pm

  • Ozzie Albies has two hits in win over Guardians
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Albies’ double was a well-hit 321-foot shot at 96 mph off the bat, and it’s good to see him making authoritative contact so soon since being activated off the IL. He now has a .329/.393/.513 slash line and should be back to being locked into all lineups. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:03 pm
  • Isaac Paredes goes 2-for-4, hits seventh homer
Isaac Paredes finished 2-for-4 with a homer versus the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Paredes is the one holdover in the Rays lineup who hasn’t been hurt or a disappointment. The homer today was his seventh. No one else on the squad has more than three. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:02 pm
