    • Sitting against lefty
Garcia is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against Atlanta.

Advice: With southpaw Max Fried on the hill for Atlanta, the left-handed hitting Garcia will yield to switch-hitter Ildemaro Vargas at second base. Garcia has made just three starts against lefties this season. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago

    • Michael Harris leading off for Braves vs. Nats
Michael Harris II is hitting leadoff against the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Harris will get the first crack at the leadoff spot with Ronald Acuña Jr. now out for the season with his torn ACL. With Harris in the leadoff spot, he has the chance to be driven in by Austin Riley, Matt Olson and a plethora of other quality hitters in the Atlanta lineup. There’s a lot to like about this situation, outside of the bummer that is the Acuña Jr. injury. Rotoworld Today, 12:05 pm

    • Receiving another start
Brown is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Brewers at American Family Field.

Advice: Brown made his fifth start of the season and his first since May 2 in his last appearance Thursday versus Atlanta, striking out six over four scoreless innings while working around one hit and two walks. Because he had been working out of the bullpen over the preceding three weeks and took the mound versus Atlanta on three days' rest, Brown had his workload monitored carefully, as he was pulled after 66 pitches despite mowing down the opposing lineup. Brown should be able to provide the Cubs with more length when he takes the hill Tuesday, but his run in the Chicago rotation may not last much longer, with Jordan Wicks (forearm) nearing a return from the 15-day injured list. • Swipes bag in loss
Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Batting seventh in an Atlanta lineup that got juggled around in the wake of a season-ending knee injury to Ronald Acuna, Harris reached base twice for the fourth time in the last six games. The 23-year-old center fielder is still looking to regain his usual form, but he's showing signs of heating up -- over his last 16 contests, he's slashing .290/.333/.403 with two of his five homers and three of his eight steals on the year. • Keeps rolling for 16th save
Suarez earned a save against the Marlins on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.

Advice: Suarez was summoned in the ninth frame to protect a one-run lead and had no trouble doing so, retiring the side in order on 14 pitches. The right-hander came into the campaign with a loose grip on the ninth-inning role for the Padres but has emerged as one of the league's top first-half closers with 16 saves (in 16 chances) while posting a 0.73 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB over 24.2 innings. Prior to this season, Suarez had just one save over 71 major-league appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:06 pm
    • Suarez picks up 16th save against Marlins Monday
Robert Suarez tossed a scoreless inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: The save was Suarez’ 16th of the season. He lowered his ERA to 0.73 on the season. While the Padres’ closer situation was ambiguous going into the season, Suarez has grabbed the job and run with it to the point where he’s been one of the best closers in all of fantasy this season. • Adley Rutschman plates two in O’s victory
Adley Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Monday in the Orioles’ lopsided win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Rutschman has been overshadowed a bit by the surreal exploits of Milwaukee’s burgeoning superstar, William Contreras, but he remains in the mix as one of the premier backstops in the fantasy landscape. The 26-year-old franchise cornerstone delivered an RBI sacrifice fly in the third inning before adding an RBI double in the seventh inning of Monday afternoon’s one-sided affair at Fenway Park. He’s hitting .300 (62-for-207) with 10 homers, 37 RBI and one steal across 50 contests. That’ll work. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:42 pm

    • Scratched from Monday's start
Gomber has been scratched from Monday's start against the Guardians due to general arm soreness, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Advice: Mmanager Bud Black implied that Gomber isn't dealing with an injury, and the decision to scratch the left-hander has more to do with the team wanting to hold him back for the team's upcoming series against the Dodgers this weekend. Anthony Molina will draw the start Monday for Colorado in what could be a bullpen day. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:16 am

    • Knocks in three Sunday
France went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a two-run home run in a win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: France knocked a 392-foot shot to left field with Mitch Garver aboard in the fourth inning to extend the Mariners' lead to 4-0 at the time, and he added an RBI single in the eighth that plated Julio Rodriguez. France has now reached safely in eight consecutive starts, but his current .243/.301/.384 slash line is still below the standards he set over his first three seasons in Seattle.
