      Crawford (2-2) suffered the loss Monday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings against the Rays. He struck out six.

      Advice: Crawford did not allow a long ball after having allowed one each over his past two starts (none over his first six outings) but did serve up three extra-base hits on his way to allowing four earned runs for the first time this season. A two-out triple in the first inning by Amed Rosario was the biggest blow while a fourth inning double by Jose Caballero set up Tampa's fourth run and ultimately served as the deciding run that sent Crawford to his second defeat. Despite the relatively subpar effort, Crawford maintains a high-quality 2.24 ERA that he'll take into his next start, tentatively slated to take place over the weekend when the Red Sox head to St. Louis for an inter-league matchup against the Cardinals.       Keller (4-3) allowed eight hits over six shutout frames Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over Milwaukee.

      Advice: Keller faced traffic on the bases throughout the night but was able to dance around danger and keep the Brewers scoreless. He forced 13 whiffs -- his second-best total so far this season -- and threw 71 of 100 pitches for strikes. Of those 13, seven came via the fastball, which averaged 95.2 mph. Keller has seemingly turned a corner after a shaky opening month; he's allowed just one run while posting a 12:1 K:BB over 15 frames in his last two starts.       Mitch Keller tossed six shutout innings, recorded seven strikeouts and picked up the win in the Pirates’ 8-6 victory over the Brewers on Monday.



      Advice: The win was Keller’s fourth of the season. He allowed eight hits, but walked none in the outing. Keller lowered his ERA to 3.93 on the season. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs in Chicago this weekend.

    • Kutter Crawford strikes out six in loss to Rays
      Kutter Crawford was charged with four runs over six innings on Monday in a loss to the Rays.

      Advice: Crawford struck out six and only issued one walk. He got into trouble right away with two outs in the opening frame when he gave up a two-run triple to Amed Rosario and a run-scoring single to Richie Palacios. A fourth-inning sacrifice fly from Jose Siri was enough to saddle him with a loss in a low-scoring showdown at Fenway Park. He’ll bring a strong 2.24 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 52/16 K/BB ratio across 52 1/3 innings (nine starts) into a road tilt on Saturday against the Cardinals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:15 pm

      Buehler (0-1) took the loss Sunday against the Padres, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two in 3.1 innings.

      Advice: The majority of the damage against Buehler came in the opening frame when Fernando Tatis and Jake Cronenworth smoked back-to-back solo home runs. Buehler would later exit with the bases loaded and one out in the fourth and was charged with an additional run. He struggled with his command in another abbreviated start, throwing 45 of 77 pitches for strikes, and generated only five whiffs.       Harrison allowed three runs on three hits and five walks while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision versus the Reds on Sunday.

      Advice: Walks have become an issue for Harrison in May -- he's issued 12 of them over 17 innings across his last three starts while adding 14 strikeouts in that span. The Reds weren't fully able to capitalize Sunday, scraping together three runs in the first inning but leaving four runners on base over the next four frames before finding more luck against the Giants' bullpen. Harrison has allowed just four runs over his last 23 innings and now has a 3.42 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 45:17 K:BB through 50 innings across nine starts this season.       Walker Buehler struggled in Sunday afternoon’s loss against the Padres, giving up three runs on five hits over his 3 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: Buehler also issued a pair of walks while striking out two batters on the afternoon. The bulk of the damage done against him came in the opening inning as Fernando Tatis Jr. and Jake Cronenworth crushed back-to-back solo home runs. Buehler then exited with the bases loaded and one out in the fourth inning and was somewhat fortunate that only one of the inherited runners wound up scoring. Buehler got five swings and misses on 77 pitches on the day, posting an underwhelming CSW of only 19 percent.       Kyle Harrison allowed three runs in five innings Sunday in a no-decision versus the Reds.

      Advice: All of the runs came in the first, which featured a hit by pitch, two walks and then a near-grand slam from Jeimer Candelario that instead resulted in a bases-clearing double. Harrison went on to allow just one hard-hit ball over the subsequent four innings, but he did walk three more batters. He’s walked 12 in his three starts this month, but he has a 2.12 ERA in the process. In April, he walked a total of five batters in six starts, though he had a 4.09 ERA then.
