      Batting leadoff for the first time, Jordan Westburg went 2-for-5 with a homer versus the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

      Advice: Manager Brandon Hyde indicated before the game that this wasn’t a permanent move. Westburg, though, has a case for hitting high in the order regularly. Westburg has hit safely in five straight games and 10 of the last 12, and on the season he's slashing .301/.345/.522 with six homers, five steals, 20 runs and 26 RBI in 36 contests.       Jordan Westburg hit a walk-off single while going 4-for-5 to give the Orioles to a 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks in the 11th inning Saturday.

      Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-3 loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: Ramirez has gone 8-for-23 (.348) over his last six games, and half of his hits in that span have left the yard. He started the year slowly from a power standpoint, but the third baseman is up to nine homers, 33 RBI and a .471 slugging percentage through 38 contests thanks to his recent surge.
