• Resumes throwing
Cisnero (shoulder) restarted a throwing program June 10, per MLB.com.

Advice: Cisnero has been out of action since April 27, and he landed on the 10-day injured list due to shoulder discomfort the following day. The right-handed reliever began a throwing program May 17 but was subsequently shut down after experiencing lower-back tightness. Cisnero was eventually transferred to the 60-day IL, so he's not eligible to return until late June, though there's a good chance he'll remain out longer than that. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago

  • Continues progressing toward return
Quijada (elbow) threw to hitters in a live bullpen session June 11 and tossed live batting practice June 14, per MLB.com.

Advice: Since taking a pre-planned break from throwing for a week between late May and early June, Quijada has tossed a 25-pitch standard bullpen session along with the pair of sessions against live hitters. He's now nearly 13 months removed from the Tommy John surgery he underwent last season and appears to be doing well in his recovery. If Quijada continues to progress without any setbacks, he could rejoin the Angels' bullpen before the All-Star break. Rotowire.com 48 minutes ago

  • Andre Pallante gives up two runs in brief outing
Andre Pallante was charged with two runs (one earned) over 3 1/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Pallante turned in a perfect opening frame before engineering a masterful escape after giving up back-to-back hits to open the second inning. He got into trouble in the fourth inning after giving up consecutive hits to open the frame and was lifted for reliever Chris Roycroft after striking out Ian Happ and wound up being charged with a pair of runs following his departure. He struck out four and didn’t hand out a free pass. The 25-year-old righty figures to continue operating in a swingman-type role for the Cardinals moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 1:50 pm
