• Spencer Torkelson goes deep in loss to D’Backs
Spencer Torkelson clubbed his third home run of the season on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough to power the Tigers past the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

Advice: The 24-year-old slugger got the Tigers on the board in the third inning, crushing a 428-foot (106.5 mph EV) solo shot off of Jordan Montgomery in the third inning. He also reached on a fielder’s choice in the seventh inning and scored on an RBI triple off the bat of Kerry Carpenter that was nearly an inside-the-park home run. Torkelson finished the afternoon 1-for-4 and is now hitting .227/.291/.360 with three long balls and 17 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:16 pm
  • Alec Bohm knocks in five to take over MLB lead
Alec Bohm had a three-run homer and two sac flies to lead the Phillies to an 11-5 win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Bohm has had four six-RBI games in his career, including one last month, but this is the first time he’s finished with exactly five. He’s now the major league leader with 42 RBI, giving him one more than Marcell Ozuna and José Ramírez. With a .330/.389/.528 line in 47 games, he’s on track to make his All-Star debut this summer. • Isaac Paredes homers in loss
Isaac Paredes hit a two-run home run on Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Paredes’ homer was the only sign of life for the Rays’ offense on Sunday as they were stifled by Alek Manoah for seven innings. Paredes continues to prove his doubters wrong with a .309 batting average, .916 OPS, and nine home runs on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:41 pm

  • Knee remains bothersome
Santander is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mariners due to soreness and swelling in his left knee, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Advice: The 29-year-old served as Baltimore's designated hitter the past two days after he suffered a bruised knee Wednesday, and he aggravated the injury while running the bases. Santander said running in the outfield remains a bit of an issue, so he could be limited to DH duties for a few days as he gets back to full strength. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:29 am

  • Anthony Santander resting Sunday vs. Mariners
Anthony Santander is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Mariners.

Advice: Santander did have a knee injury last week, but this appears to just be a day of rest for the outfielder. Austin Hays is starting against right-hander George Kirby and hitting sixth. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:50 am

  • Out of lineup Sunday
Santander is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Seattle, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Santander started the last two games at designated hitter coming off the knee injury suffered Wednesday. The veteran outfielder will get a break Sunday as Baltimore rounds out its series with the Mariners, and it appears to just be a maintenance day since there's been no reports that he aggravated the injury. • Spencer Steer goes 0-for-3 in loss to Dodgers
Spencer Steer went 0-for-3 with a strikeout on Saturday in the Reds’ shutout loss at the hands of the Dodgers.

Advice: It’s probably too early to panic, but Steer is batting just .165 (18-for-109) with one homer and eight steals over his last 30 games. The 26-year-old’s plate skills remain solid and his underlying Statcast batted ball metrics point to some regression on the way. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:48 am
