    White Sox optioned RHP Prelander Berroa to Triple-A Charlotte.

    Advice: Berrora came into Tuesday’s game against the Royals in the eighth inning where he got out of a bases loaded jam when Kyle Farmer grounded out to third base. The 24-year-old has struggled at the minor league level with a 8.74 ERA in his 11 appearances (two starts) with Charlotte.     Advice: Chris Flexen is starting for the White Sox on Wednesday versus the Twins and has bounced between the rotation and bullpen lately, so Shuster will give Chicago an option for long relief, if needed.     Keller is scheduled to start Friday's game against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium.

    Advice: Keller was called up from Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday and proceeded to make his White Sox debut as a reliever Monday, when he tossed 1.2 scoreless innings against the Twins. The White Sox haven't indicated that Keller will be joining the rotation on a permanent basis, as the team might have just wanted to build in an extra day of rest for Erick Fedde, who will take the hill Saturday after tossing 8.1 innings and 108 pitches in his most recent outing last Sunday versus the Rays. Keller will be taking the mound Friday on three days' rest, so he could face a light workload restriction, even though he had worked five-plus innings in each of his three starts with Charlotte prior to his call-up.     Scott (1-4) earned the win Tuesday over Colorado, allowing an unearned run on a hit and a walk in one inning. He struck out two.

    Advice: Scott allowed the free runner to score in the top of the 10th inning on a two-out Ryan McMahon double before ultimately striking out Hunter Goodman to end the frame. The Marlins would then score twice in the bottom half, completing the comeback victory and giving Scott his first win this year. The left-hander hasn't allowed an earned run in his last six appearances -- he's 4-for-5 in save chances this year with a 2.84 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 12:13 K:BB across 12.2 innings.     Advice: After making his first start of the season April 21 versus the Mariners, Lambert made his most recent appearance out of the bullpen, as he covered 2.2 innings in long relief April 25 after starter Dakota Hudson was pulled from the contest midway through the fourth inning. After having off days last Friday and this past Monday, the Rockies were able to temporarily get by with a four-man rotation, but Lambert will return to starting role this week as the team returns to a five-man rotation.     Advice: Manning pitched in yesterday’s doubleheader against the Cardinals where he struck out seven and allowed four earned runs across 4 2/3 innings of work. He holds a 4.24 ERA, 1.18 WHIP with a 17/8 K/BB ratio in his three starts with the Tigers this season.     Advice: The 26-year-old right-hander was called up to be the 27th man for the second game of a doubleheader on Tuesday. Leahy allowed two hits and two earned runs in 1 1/3 innings of work against the Tigers.
