    Tatis went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a steal, an RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Reds.

    Advice: Tatis also reached base once more via a hit by pitch and stole his first bag since April 16. Coming into Tuesday, his numbers at the dish have been misleading. He was just 5-for-40 over his last 10 games but posted a 72.4 percent hard hit rate and averaged an exit velocity of 96.9 miles per hour. He's experiencing some bad luck at the moment, which should turn around sooner than later.     Dylan Carlson (shoulder) walked twice on Tuesday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Memphis.

    Advice: Carlson will likely require a handful of rehab contests before rejoining St. Louis’ outfield mix at some point in the next week or so. The 25-year-old was at designated hitter in his rehab debut and should get back into center field at some point this week.     Luis Rengifo finished 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI versus the Phillies in Tuesday’s loss.

    Advice: New Angels manager Ron Washington made it very clear early on that he wasn’t a Rengifo fan, but at this point, it’s hard to justify not batting him first. He was in the fifth spot tonight. but he has about 60 points of OBP on leadoff man Nolan Schanuel, and he’s definitely the more effective baserunner of those two.     JJ Bleday delivered his second and third homers of the year Tuesday as the A’s topped the Pirates 5-2.

    Advice: Those was four of Oakland’s nine strikeouts on the night. Boasting excellent exit velocity numbers, Butler’s xStats are far better than his current .195/.305/.325 line. and he might be somewhat interesting on another team.
