    • Goes 4.2 innings vs. Tigers
Parker allowed four unearned runs on four hits and three walks over 4.2 innings in a no-decision Tuesday against Detroit. He stuck out one.

Advice: Parker held the Tigers scoreless through his first four innings, though he'd ultimately allow four unearned runs in the fifth following his own error. While Parker wasn't at his best Tuesday, the rookie left-hander has still yet to allow more than three earned runs in 11 starts this season. His ERA is down to 3.21 with a 1.09 WHIP and 46:15 K:BB across 61.2 innings. Parker is currently in line to face the Marlins at home in his next outing. Rotowire.com Today, 7:29 pm

    • Mitchell Parker allows four unearned runs vs. Tigers
Mitchell Parker was charged with four runs (zero earned) over five innings on Tuesday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: Parker allowed four runs for the first time in 11 starts to open his big-league career, but none of them wound up being earned as all of the damage came following his own fielding error with two outs in the fifth inning. He finished with one strikeout and also issued three walks. He’ll bring a respectable 3.21 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 46/15 K/BB ratio across 61 2/3 innings (11 starts) into a favorable home matchup on Sunday against the Marlins. Rotoworld Today, 6:35 pm

    • Resumes throwing off mound
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Tuesday that Senga (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Sunday and will throw another one Wednesday, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Advice: It's the first time Senga has thrown from the bump since he had to be shut down due to right triceps tightness. The hurler originally landed on the injured list due to a shoulder injury and is not expected back until after the All-Star break. Senga will need multiple rehab starts before returning, but it's not clear when he might be ready to pitch in games. Rotowire.com Today, 1:17 pm

    • Kodai Senga to throw bullpen session on Wednesday
Kodai Senga (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday.

Advice: Senga isn’t expected to return until after next month’s All-Star break at this juncture as his rehabilitation from an offseason shoulder issue has hit several snags along the way. The 31-year-old righty got through a bullpen session over the weekend without any issues and appears to be finally ramping up his throwing program. No word yet on when he’ll progress to facing hitters before being set for a minor league rehab assignment. Rotoworld Today, 1:12 pm

    • Fans nine in loss
Pepiot (4-3) took the loss Monday against Baltimore, allowing four runs on nine hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out nine.

Advice: Pepiot struggled to contain an imposing Orioles lineup, allowing a career-high nine hits. However, it wasn't all bad for the Rays righty as he generated an impressive 16 whiffs en route to nine strikeouts. Following this four-run appearance, Pepiot has thrown a 4.17 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 68:16 K:BB over 58.1 innings this season. The 26-year-old faces another difficult test in his next start, scheduled to be at Atlanta this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:08 pm

    • Notches seventh win
Burnes (7-2) earned the win Monday against the Rays, allowing two unearned runs on five hits and one walk over seven innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Burnes dazzled in the series finale, shutting down Tampa Bay to collect his ninth consecutive quality start and 11th overall. The only blemish on the 29-year-old's evening was a two-run homer yielded to Alex Jackson that drove in a pair of unearned runs. Overall, Burnes now sports a 2.08 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 82:22 K:BB in 86.2 innings while being tied for the league lead in quality starts. The Baltimore ace is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Phillies at home this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:36 pm
    • Corbin Burnes spins seven frames to defeat Rays
Corbin Burnes was charged with a pair of unearned runs over seven innings on Monday in a win over the Rays.

Advice: Burnes served up a two-run homer to light-hitting Rays backstop Alex Jackson in the second inning after a two-out error by second baseman Jordan Westburg allowed the frame to continue. He kept Tampa Bay’s lineup off the scoreboard otherwise into the late stages of the contest, outdueling opposing starter Ryan Pepiot in the process, to pick up his seventh win of the year. He finished with six strikeouts and only issued one walk. He’ll bring a stellar 2.08 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 82/22 K/BB ratio across 86 2/3 innings (14 starts) into a home outing on Saturday against the red-hot Phillies. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:32 pm
    • Ryan Pepiot strikes out nine in loss to Orioles
Ryan Pepiot struck out nine and allowed four runs over six innings on Monday in a loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Pepiot put together an extremely impressive performance as solo homers from Gunnar Henderson and Ryan O’Hearn, respectively, represented the only damage against him early on until O’Hearn added a two-run double in the fifth inning, which was enough to saddle him with a loss. He generated 16 swinging strikes, including six on his changeup alone, and finished with a robust 35 percent CSW. The 26-year-old righty has excelled in his Rays debut this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in eight of his 11 starts. He’ll bring a sparkling 4.17 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 68/16 K/BB ratio across 58 1/3 innings (11 starts) into a challenging road matchup on Saturday against the Braves at Truist Park. • Andrés Muñoz’s status to be evaluated daily
Andrés Muñoz is still dealing with his sore back, according to manager Scott Servais, and could be day-to-day for the foreseeable future.

Advice: We’re guessing that means Muñoz won’t go tonight after throwing 15 pitches in a scoreless inning Sunday. Ryne Stanek could be the favorite to close tonight. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:27 pm
