• Homers, drives in two in win
Morel went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Mets.

Advice: Morel hit an RBI single in the first inning then crushed a 446-foot solo home run in the third. Morel's .209 average so far in June is actually his highest of any month this season, and the homer was his fourth in 19 June games. The 24-year-old is hitting just .202 to date but does have 14 home runs and 43 RBI over 267 at-bats in 2024. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago

  • Carlos Correa picks up three knocks in victory
Carlos Correa went 3-for-6 with an RBI and run scored in a blowout win over the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Correa had three of the Twins’ 16 hits on a day where Minnesota dominated from start to finish. The 29-year-old has been spectacular in the month of June, and this makes six games with at least three hits in that period. A .308/.369/.498 slash is fantastic, but Correa has somehow been considerably better as of late than that line suggests. Rotoworld Today, 4:02 pm

  • Christopher Morel wallops 446-foot homer in win
Christopher Morel went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI on Saturday, powering the Cubs to an 8-1 blowout victory over the Mets.

Advice: Morel contributed a run-scoring single as part of Chicago’s five-run opening frame against Mets starter Tylor Megill before clobbering a gargantuan 446-foot solo shot to left-center field -- his 14th round-tripper of the season -- a couple innings later. It was a much-needed tater for Morel, who hadn’t gone deep since June 11. Rotoworld Today, 2:19 pm

  • Gleyber Torres returns to lineup on Saturday
Gleyber Torres (groin) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Braves.

Advice: Torres sat out Friday’s series opener following an early exit from Thursday’s game due to right groin tightness. It’s a positive sign that he’s back in the lineup and it confirms the belief from Yankees manager Aaron Boone that Torres wasn’t dealing with anything major. Rotoworld Today, 12:01 pm

  • Back in lineup Saturday
Torres (groin) is starting at second base and batting seventh for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: Torres left in the sixth inning of Thursday's game against the Orioles due to tightness in his right groin. He was held out of Friday's game as a precaution and is back in the lineup Saturday. For the month of June, Torres is slashing .194/.268/.387 with three home runs and 12 RBI over 62 at-bats. • Notches 17th save
Diaz gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his 17th save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: The right-hander has mostly put his rough start to the season behind him. Diaz has converted 10 straight save chances over his last 12 appearances, posting a 2.31 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 12:6 K:BB through 11.2 innings during that stretch. Despite his 5.08 ERA and 1.48 WHIP on the season, he has a very firm grip on Cincinnati's closer job. Rotowire.com Today, 6:56 am

  • Hits second homer
Arraez went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 9-5 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Arraez entered Friday with just four hits over his last six games, an unusual lack of production for the contact-heavy infielder. He made an impact with his lone knock Friday, sparking the Padres' comeback with a fifth-inning blast. Over 76 games between the Padres and the Marlins this year, he's slashing .314/.349/.385 with two homers, 21 RBI, 43 runs scored, 15 doubles, a triple and three stolen bases. He's the only player in the majors with over 100 hits so far in 2024, but that's led to his usual empty batting average, as he offers little in the way of power or speed and won't generate many RBI as a leadoff hitter. • Alexiz Díaz converts 11th straight save chanceg
Alexis Díaz worked a scoreless ninth for his 17th save Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Díaz has converted 10 straight save chances, even though he’s had a few hiccups during the run. His 5.08 ERA and 29/19 K/BB ratio in 28 1/3 innings still don’t inspire a ton of confidence, but things are certainly looking up from a few weeks ago. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:41 pm

  • Luis Arraez golfs out homer in win over Brewers
Luis Arraez hit a two-run homer against the Brewers on Friday in a win for the Padres.

Advice: Arraez is not known for his power, but the 27-year-old was able to golf out a pitch down and in for his second homer of the season. The second baseman has hit .324 since being traded to San Diego with 16 RBI and three stolen bases in five attempts over 185 at-bats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:00 pm
