    Advice: Perez’ home run was his 11th of the season and second in the month of June. Perez has cooled off this month. He’s 11-for-70 (.157) in June with two home runs and five RBI.     Morel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Mets.

    Advice: Morel provided all of Chicago's offense with his 15th home run of the season in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old has hit 15 or more homers in each of his three MLB seasons to date, including a career high 26 long balls last year in 107 games.   • Christopher Morel slugs two-run homer in loss
    Christopher Morel slugged a two-run homer on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Cubs past the Mets.

    Advice: The Cubs weren’t able to get anything going over six innings against Luis Severino, but they started to battle back as soon as he exited. Morel finally got them on the board with a 420-foot (106.9 mph EV) two-run blast off of Dedniel Nunez in the seventh inning.   • Luis Arraez has two hits, RBI in loss on Sunday
    Luis Arraez went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and an RBI on Sunday afternoon as the Padres fell to the Brewers.

  • Carlos Correa picks up three knocks in victory
    Carlos Correa went 3-for-6 with an RBI and run scored in a blowout win over the Athletics on Saturday.

    Advice: Correa had three of the Twins’ 16 hits on a day where Minnesota dominated from start to finish. The 29-year-old has been spectacular in the month of June, and this makes six games with at least three hits in that period.     Christopher Morel went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI on Saturday, powering the Cubs to an 8-1 blowout victory over the Mets.

    Advice: Morel contributed a run-scoring single as part of Chicago’s five-run opening frame against Mets starter Tylor Megill before clobbering a gargantuan 446-foot solo shot to left-center field -- his 14th round-tripper of the season -- a couple innings later.   • Gleyber Torres returns to lineup on Saturday
    Gleyber Torres (groin) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Braves.

    Advice: Torres sat out Friday’s series opener following an early exit from Thursday’s game due to right groin tightness.
