• Tyler O’Neill homers twice in extra-innings loss
Tyler O’Neill homered twice in an extra-innings loss Saturday to the Dodgers.

Advice: O’Neill hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning, and then came up big with a two-run shot in the 10th to give Boston a 6-4 lead. That lead didn’t last, but the outfielder was able to push his homer total to 18 with 35 RBI. The lack of runs driven in has nothing to do with O’Neill and everything to do with the lack of chances. O’Neill has been a strong option for Boston even while dealing with an injury costing him nearly a month of the year. Rotoworld 24 minutes ago
  • Gallen blanks Cubs, picks up seventh win Saturday
Zac Gallen tossed five shutout innings and got the win in the Diamondbacks’ 3-0 victory over the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: The win was Gallen’s seventh of the season. He gave up three hits, walked six and struck out four. Gallen didn’t have his good command in this one, but battled and made tough pitches when he had to. He has a 3.64 ERA and 3.62 xFIP on the season. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Pirates at home next weekend. Rotoworld 42 minutes ago

He has a hit in nine of his last 10 games and is 13-for-37 (.351) with three home runs and nine RBI in that time. Perez is hitting .283 with an .820 OPS and 63 RBI on the season. • Three hits, three RBI in win
Butler went 3-for-4 with three RBI in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Angels.

Advice: Butler singled twice and laced a three-run double in the fourth inning for his third consecutive multi-hit effort. The outfielder has been ridiculous in July, tallying 10 extra-base hits and 22 RBI in 52 plate appearances. On the year, he is hitting .230 with nine homers, 30 RBI, 21 runs scored and six steals across 202 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 5:33 pm
  • Devin Williams moves rehab to Triple-A Nashville
Devin Williams (back) is expected to make a minor league rehab appearance at Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.

Advice: The 29-year-old hurler looks fully recovered from the stress fractures in his back and is only expected to need another outing or two before he’s deemed ready to return to the Brewers’ bullpen. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s thrust right back into the closer’s role, or if they’ll start him out in a setup capacity given how well Trevor Megill has performed in his absence. • Lawrence Butler drives in three in victory
Lawrence Butler went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Butler has been on an absolute tear over the last couple of weeks. He had another big day at the plate on Saturday. After knocking a base hit in the third inning, he doubled with the bases loaded to drive in three runs in the fourth. Butler added another base hit in the seventh. The 24-year-old outfielder is now batting .230/.297/.432 with nine homers, 30 RBI, and six steals over 202 plate appearances. Butler is hitting .298 with seven of his nine homers since he was recalled on June 18. Rotoworld Today, 3:40 pm
  • Moving rehab to Triple-A
Williams (back) will appear in a rehab game at Triple-A Nashville on Saturday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Williams was outstanding in his first rehab appearance, striking out all three batters he faced last Saturday at High-A Wisconsin. He'll now move up to Nashville in order to face some tougher competition, and he may return to the Brewers' bullpen before the end of the month if he continues to dominate offenses. • Placed on 10-day IL
Correa (heel) was placed on the 10-day injured list with right plantar fasciitis on Saturday, retroactive to July 16.

Advice: Correa missed the Twins' final two games before the All-Star break with a heel injury, but it wasn't considered to be particularly serious at the time. He will now be forced to miss at least the the next 10 games, but plantar fasciitis can be a very tricky situation, so it's unclear if the shortstop will be able to return when first eligible. Correa has been on a tear since the beginning of June, batting .360 with nine home runs, 28 RBI and 29 runs scored over 36 contests, so his absence is a tough pill to swallow for fantasy managers. In a corresponding move, Edouard Julien was called up from Triple-A St. Paul to replace Correa in Minnesota's infield Saturday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:40 pm

  • Twins place Carlos Correa (heel) on 10-day IL
Twins placed INF Carlos Correa on the 10-day injured list with plantar fasciitis in his right heel.

Advice: It had been reported before the All-Star break that Correa was battling plantar fasciitis again, so this move doesn’t come as a total surprise. No word yet on how long he’ll be shelved for. Edouard Julien was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul to take his spot on the Twins’ roster. Rotoworld Today, 1:31 pm
