    • Bobby Witt Jr. plates two in victory over Tigers
Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Wednesday, leading the Royals to an 8-3 victory over the Tigers.

Advice: Witt did his damage in the late stages of the contest, tacking on a pair of insurance runs with a two-run double in the seventh inning. The 23-year-old fantasy superstar is on fire at the moment, batting .370 (10-for-27) with two homers and one steal over his last seven games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:39 pm
    • Fills stat sheet in win
Witt went 3-for-4 with two home runs, six RBI, one stolen base and three runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Witt has six extra-base hits over his last five games, going 8-for-20 (.400) in that span. He hadn't hit a homer since May 8, but he made up for it with a three-run blast in the second inning and a solo shot in the sixth. Witt also had an RBI single and a sacrifice fly in the contest. The star shortstop is slashing .304/.362/.546 with seven homers, 31 RBI, 45 runs scored, 16 steals, 14 doubles and three triples over 50 contests, a prominent display of his versatile skill set. • Bobby Witt Jr. homers twice, drives in six vs. DET
Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Tigers.

Advice: Witt drove in Maikel Garcia in the bottom of the first to give the Royals a 1-0 lead after Garcia started things off with a leadoff triple. That was just the start for Witt, who would later blast a three-run homer 468 feet to center field to put the Royals up 5-0 and hit another homer in the sixth inning just for good measure. Witt has now hit safely in five straight games and has upped his RBI total to 31 on the season. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:09 pm
    • Knocks two extra-base hits
Witt went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win over Oakland.

Advice: Witt drove in a run with a first-inning double before coming around to score. He later tripled before chipping in an RBI sacrifice fly. He entered Sunday in a 3-for-24 (.125) skid over his previous six games but snapped that with his 18th multi-hit performance of the year. Witt is now slashing .296/.356/.511 with 24 extra-base hits and 42 runs scored through 48 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:44 pm
    • Tallies three hits in loss
Abrams went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI in Saturday's extra-inning loss to Philadelphia.

Advice: Abrams had been in a minor rut coming into Saturday, going 1-for-13 over his previous four games. He broke the skid with his first three-hit performance since April 23 while collecting his first RBI since May 8. Abrams' production has fallen off in May -- he's batting .230 with a 1:14 BB:K this month -- but he's still carrying a solid .271/.330/.494 slash line with seven homers, 21 RBI, 28 runs and eight stolen bases on the season. • Abrams has three-hit game Saturday
CJ Abrams went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI against the Phillies on Saturday.

Advice: Abrams scored the first run of the game on Joey Meneses’ RBI single in the first inning and gave the Nationals a 2-1 lead with an RBI single of his own in the fifth inning. He has struggled since his hot start to the season, but has his average up to .271 after the three hits on Saturday. Abrams is certainly hitting better than he did last season when he hit .245 with less power. Rotoworld Saturday, 6:40 pm

    • Abrams is back in the lineup Friday
CJ Abrams is back in the Nationals lineup, batting first against the Phillies on Friday.

Advice: Abrams was out of the lineup when the Nationals faced Garrett Crochet and the White Sox on Wednesday. It was a mostly routine day off with a tough matchup for the lefty. Abrams got off to a hot start this season, but is now hitting .205 with one home run and eight RBI over his last 20 games. Rotoworld Friday, 12:32 pm

    • Bobby Witt Jr. plates both runs in loss to Mariners
Bobby Witt Jr. went 0-for-3 and drove in both of the Royals’ runs in Wednesday afternoon’s loss to the Mariners.

Advice: The 23-year-old superstar finally got the Royals on the board with a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, pulling them to within a run at 2-1. He also plated a run with a ground ball in the eighth inning. On the season, he’s now slashing .293/.359/.500 with five homers, 23 RBI and 15 stolen bases. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:50 pm
    • CJ Abrams sits against tough lefty
Like the rest of the Nationals’ lefty hitters, CJ Abrams is on the bench for Wednesday’s game against Garrett Crochet and the White Sox.

Advice: It makes for a weird lineup, as Ildemaro Vargas is playing left field and batting third and Rule 5 pick Nasim Nuñez is making just his second start of the year. It’s the first time Abrams has sat since Apr. 8, when he was dealing with hand soreness. Rotoworld Wednesday, 10:16 am
