Paul DeJong scores twice as White Sox beat Cards
Paul DeJong went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and an RBI as the White Sox triumphed over the Cardinals 5-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Advice: DeJong smacked a one-out ground-rule double off of Matthew Liberatore in the second inning, took third on a wild pitch and scored on a sacrifice fly by Bryan Ramos. He then further victimized his former squad with an RBI double in the seventh inning that extended the White Sox lead to 3-1. He scored later in the inning on an RBI knock by Braden Shewmake. With his two-hit attack, DeJong is now hitting .224/.267/.412 with three long balls and seven RBI in 90 plate appearances.
