    Advice: Glasnow completed seven frames for the third time already this season and also notched his third double-digit strikeout performance. The dynamic 30-year-old fantasy ace generated 14 swinging strikes and finished with a 32 percent CSW. He got plenty of support from Los Angeles’ loaded lineup to cruise to his sixth win of the year.   • Bryce Elder coughs up three homers to Dodgers
    Bryce Elder was blasted for seven runs over 3 1/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the Dodgers.

    Advice: We saw this one coming. Elder was no match for Los Angeles’ star-studded lineup as he gave up seven hits, including three round-trippers, in an abbreviated outing. He was taken deep by Max Muncy, Shohei Ohtani and Andy Pages before departing in the fourth inning. He finished with four strikeouts and also issued four walks.     Neris allowed one run on two hits and one walk but recorded the final three outs of Saturday's game against the Brewers to earn his sixth save of the season. He struck out one batter.

    Advice: Neris put the tying run in scoring position with just one out, but he then buckled down and retired Tyler Black and Willy Adames to preserve the win for starter Jameson Taillon. With six saves in as many attempts since April 20, and with Adbert Alzolay struggling to get on track in lower-leverage situations, Neris appears to be shoring up his spot in the ninth inning under manager Craig Counsell.     Myers (0-2) took the loss to the Cubs on Saturday, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over three innings. He struck out two batters.

    Advice: Nico Hoerner and Christopher Morel touched Myers up for homers, sending the right-hander to his second loss in three starts. Walks had not been an issue for Myers in his first two turns, as he walked only one batter in his first 10 innings, but he couldn't find the strike zone and/or didn't trust his stuff enough on this particular day to fill up the zone. While it was a step backward, Myers projects to remain in the rotation for the time being with DL Hall (knee) and Jakob Junis (shoulder) still without definitive timetables.     Phil Maton hurled a scoreless ninth inning on Saturday against the Mets to net his first save of the season.

    Advice: Maton got the call on Saturday to protect a narrow two-run advantage after Jason Adam tossed a scoreless eighth inning in a tie ballgame. He issued a one-out walk to Harrison Bader, but managed to retire Brett Baty and pinch-hitter DJ Stewart to preserve the victory.     Detmers (3-3) took the loss against Cleveland on Saturday, allowing seven runs on five hits and four walks while striking out seven batters over 5.2 innings.

    Advice: Detmers entered the sixth inning with a quality start still in sight, as he had allowed three runs to that point. However, the left-hander got himself into trouble by walking three batters in the frame, and Bo Naylor made the hurler pay with a grand slam to blow the game open. The seven runs, three homers and four free passes were all season-worst marks for Detmers, who was tagged with his third consecutive loss. The 24-year-old looked to be on his way to a breakout campaign by posting a 1.19 ERA and 30:7 K:BB over 22.2 innings across his first four starts, but he's stumbled since, allowing 16 earned runs and recording a 14:7 K:BB over 17.2 frames in his past three outings.     Advice: The bullpen allowed Milwaukee back into the game with five runs, though Hector Neris ultimately shut the door to preserve the win. Taillon's seven strikeouts Saturday set a new season high after he'd previously topped out at four Ks in an outing. Since returning from a back injury, Taillon has allowed just three earned runs with a 16:5 K:BB over 24 innings.     Advice: There was a rain delay before the game and more inclement weather during the contest, but Suarez seemed undaunted as he became the first six-game winner in baseball (Tyler Glasnow joined him later Saturday). It speaks as to how well Suarez has pitched this season that this was easily his worst start since his first outing of the season when he allowed three runs in five innings. The three runs the left-hander gave up Saturday matched his total from his previous five starts. With a matchup versus the Marlins looming next week, Suarez has a good chance to keep rolling.
