    • Notches second save of June
McArthur earned a save against the Marlins on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.

Advice: McArthur entered in the ninth frame with Kansas City up by three runs and made quick work of Miami, retiring the side in order on 10 pitches. That netted him his first save since June 6 and his 13th overall this season. McArthur's 18-day span between saves was of no fault of his own -- he didn't see any save opportunities during that stretch, and the only save by any KC pitcher during that period came in a game during which McArthur was used in a high-leverage spot and ended up with the victory. With that in mind, McArthur remains the top option for save chances in the Royals' bullpen. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago
    • Matt Waldron fans eight in quality start
Matt Waldron pitched six innings of two-run ball Monday against the Nationals.

Advice: Waldron struck out eight in a sixth straight quality start. He threw the knuckler 46 times tonight and wound up with nothing but soft contact against the pitch. There’s still not a whole lot to like about the rest of his arsenal, but the knuckleball has come far enough this year to make him a fine bet going forward. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

    • Strikes out eight in no-decision
Waldron allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over six innings in a no-decision versus the Nationals on Monday.

Advice: Waldron rattled off his sixth straight quality start, and he's gone nine outings without allowing more than two runs. The run support wasn't there for him Monday, leaving him to take his fifth no-decision of the season. Waldron is at a 3.43 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 84:27 K:BB over 89.1 innings through 16 starts. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at Boston. Rotowire.com 23 minutes ago

    • McArthur picks up 13th save against Marlins
James McArthur tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: The save was McArthur’s 13th of the season. He’s been a little shaky this season with a 4.70 ERA, but the Royals don’t necessarily have a better option to turn to for saves. It was just McArthur’s second save in the month of June, but it looks like the Royals will continue to lean on him when the opportunity arises. Rotoworld Today, 7:45 pm
    • Bryan Reynolds pushes hit streak to 21 straight
Bryan Reynolds extended his hitting streak to 21 consecutive games on Monday in the Pirates’ loss to the Reds.

Advice: Reynolds went 2-for-4 with an RBI and also drew a walk, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances in a one-sided affair. The 29-year-old outfielder is batting .315 (39-for-124) with seven homers and one steal over his last 30 games. Rotoworld Today, 7:18 pm

    • Bryce Harper hits 19th homer, plates five in win
Bryce Harper went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and five RBI on Monday, powering the Phillies to a dominant 8-1 victory over the Tigers.

Advice: Harper kicked off the scoring in the opening frame with a sizzling two-run double to center field off Tigers starter Casey Mize, which left his bat at a stratopsheric 111 mph exit velocity. He also connected for his 19th round-tripper of the season, sending a three-run moonshot to right field off southpaw reliever Tyler Holton a couple frames later to cap off a stellar performance in a one-sided affair at Comerica Park. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar is in the midst of one of the best stretches of his career at the moment, batting .345 (39-for-113) with nine homers and 21 RBI over his last 30 games. Harper went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a home run in Monday's win against Detroit, finishing with five RBI and three runs scored.

Advice: Harper opened the scoring in the first inning with a two-run double before icing the game with a three-run shot in the sixth. Harper stayed hot at the plate, extending his hitting streak to nine games. During the hitting streak, the 31-year-old is batting a scorching .462 (18-for-39) with four home runs, 10 RBI, 12 runs scored and one stolen base. Rotowire.com Today, 6:50 pm

    • Heston Kjerstad collects two hits, doubles in loss
Heston Kjerstad went 2-for-4 with a double on Monday in the Orioles’ loss to the Guardians.

Advice: It’s time for Baltimore to figure out what they have with Kjerstad in an everyday role at this juncture since he literally has nothing left to prove at Triple-A Norfolk. The 25-year-old figures to get an opportunity to play most days against right-handed pitching in a corner outfield or designated hitter role and his minor-league track record suggests he’s going to hit for some over-the-fence pop. There might be an adjustment period here as he acclimates to facing high-level pitching everyday, but he’s one of the more talented hitting prospects in the game. It feels like only a matter of time before he’s an impact four-category fantasy contributor in the heart of Baltimore’s sublime young nucleus. Rotoworld Today, 6:27 pm
