    • Jazz Chisholm homers in loss to Guardians
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Jazz absolutely demolished a fourth-inning offering from Carlos Carrasco 440 feet and 108.1 mph for his ninth home run of the season. The 26-year-old has lowered his strikeout rate and raised his walk rate this season, but it hasn’t led to much of an improvement in batting average. Still, he’s likely going to hit 20 home runs with at least 25 steals, which makes him a great bat for your fantasy teams. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:47 pm
    • Rejoining lineup Sunday
Suzuki (oblique) is batting second as the designated hitter Sunday against the Reds.

Advice: The 29-year-old sat out Saturday after he exited Friday's contest due to tightness in his left oblique, but he'll return to action in a non-defensive role Sunday. Suzuki is off to a hot start in June with four extra-base hits and a .286/.375/.714 slash line through six games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:28 am
    • Seiya Suzuki (side) back in lineup Sunday
Seiya Suzuki (side) is the designated hitter and hitting second against the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Suzuki missed a couple of games while dealing with tightness in his side/oblique, but he’s back in the lineup for Sunday’s tilt against Cincinnati. The outfielder has dealt with injuries over his first two-plus years in the majors, but he has shown fantasy upside when he’s in the lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:59 am
    • Steals 34th bag in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: De La Cruz reached on a single in the fifth and proceeded to swipe his MLB-leading 34th bag. After going six straight games without a steal, he now has a swipe in back-to-back games as he continues his torrid pace on the basepaths. The 22-year-old leads MLB with 87 strikeouts but he continues to make up for it with great counting stats. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:36 pm

    • Not starting Saturday
Suzuki (oblique) isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Suzuki was hit in the left side by a throw while stealing second base during Friday's loss, and he was later taken out of the game as a precaution after he felt his oblique tighten up. It's still unclear how serious his injury is, but the Cubs will play it safe Saturday and keep him sidelined. His absence will move Christopher Morel into the DH spot while Patrick Wisdom starts at third base. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:01 am
    • Seiya Suzuki out Saturday due to side tightness
Seiya Suzuki (side) is not in the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Reds.

Advice: It doesn’t come as a surprise to see the Cubs proceeding cautiously here after Suzuki left Friday’s showdown for precautionary reasons due to left side tightness. The 29-year-old corner outfielder has dealt with oblique issues on both sides over the last few years, so it’s understandable that Chicago doesn’t want to take any chances here. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:43 am
    • Swipes 33rd bag
De La Cruz went 0-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: The 22-year-old also struck out twice, and his 31.7 percent strikeout rate on the season has caught up with him -- De La Cruz is slashing .205/.286/.318 since the beginning of May with only three homers in 34 games. He continues to do damage when he is able to get on base, however, and De La Cruz's 33 steals on the season lead the league by a healthy margin, as the Brewers' Brice Turang sits in second place with 22. • Logs steal in win
Merrill went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: This was Merrill's first steal since May 14. Over the 20 contests between thefts, he hit a meager .224 (15-for-67) with no walks and just one extra-base hit. The 21-year-old still has a respectable .268/.303/.344 slash line with three home runs, 22 RBI, 24 runs scored and eight steals over 63 contests this year. Merrill has been benched against some left-handed pitchers recently, but he should have no trouble maintaining a majority of the playing time in center field over Jose Azocar. • Dealing with oblique tightness
Suzuki said after Friday's game versus the Reds that he asked to be removed in the sixth inning after feeling tightness in his oblique, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Advice: Suzuki was hit in the side by a throw while stealing a base in the first inning, and he was checked on by trainers after appearing uncomfortable at the plate in the fifth frame. He later was replaced in right field by Mike Tauchman -- a precautionary move given Suzuki's recent history with oblique injuries. The Cubs haven't run any tests on the 29-year-old's oblique, so an update on his status will likely have to wait until before Saturday's contest. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:55 pm
