    • Sits down against lefty
Outman isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Saturday's game against Toronto.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Outman will take a seat Saturday with southpaw Yusei Kikuchi set to start on the mound for the Jays. Chris Taylor, Andy Pages and Teoscar Hernandez will start across Los Angeles' outfield while Outman watches from the dugout. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

    • Stumbles in Atlanta
Allen (3-1) took the loss Friday, giving up four runs on five hits and two walks over 4.2 innings as the Guardians were downed 6-2 by Atlanta. He struck out five.

Advice: The 25-year-old southpaw was able to keep the ball in the park after serving up four homers across his last two starts, but there weren't many other positive takeaways from this performance. Allen tossed only 48 of 91 pitches for strikes, and he's been tagged for at least three runs in five of his six outings to begin the season. He'll carry a 5.46 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 26:11 K:BB through 31.1 innings into his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Houston. Rotowire.com 53 minutes ago

    • Returns to shortstop
Seager started at shortstop and went 1-for-4 in Friday's 2-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Seager, who was removed from a game Wednesday after getting hit by a pitch on the shin, has played in both games since. He served as the DH on Thursday before returning to the field Friday. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 am
    • Picks up fourth save
Yates struck out two batters in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Friday's 2-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Yates struck out Jonathan India and Jeimer Candelario to begin the ninth, giving him 13 punchouts in 11 innings out of the bullpen. The 37-year-old righty still has yet to allow a run this season, and he'll likely continue receiving the bulk of save opportunities as long as that remains the case. Rotowire.com Today, 6:19 am
    • Punches out eight
Eovaldi didn't factor into the decision during Friday's victory over Cincinnati, giving up one earned run on three hits and five walks while striking out eight batters across six innings.

Advice: Coming off back-to-back losses, the 34-year-old righty found himself working from behind early after Elly De La Cruz walked and later stole home to score the first run of the game in the first inning. Eovaldi was able to regroup quickly and stifle the Reds' bats for the next five frames, though his struggles with limiting walks carried over from his previous start. He now owns a 3.00 ERA and 1.12 WHIP alongside a 36:17 K:BB through 36 innings in six games, and he'll look to pick up his second win of the season Thursday against the Nationals. • Nathan Eovaldi doesn’t let walks get him down
Despite walking five, Nathan Eovaldi allowed just one run over six innings Friday against the Reds.

Advice: All three hits Eovaldi allowed were singles, and he struck out eight. Eovaldi wasn’t involved in the decision, so he remains 1-2 with a 3.00 ERA through six starts. He’s due to face the Nationals next. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:22 pm
    • Kirby Yates throws perfect ninth for save
Kirby Yates struck out two in a perfect ninth Friday for a save against the Reds.

Advice: It was Yates’ first appearance since his save Sunday. He threw 14 pitches tonight, so he should be available again Saturday. David Robertson could also be a threat for a save then, but Yates is the clear favorite in Texas right now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:22 pm
    • Dealing with hamstring spasms
Manager Torey Lovullo said Friday that Gallen was removed from his start against the Mariners due to spasms in his right hamstring, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Diamondbacks will continue to monitor Gallen's condition, but the expectation is that he will be fine and may not even have to miss his next start -- tentatively slated for Wednesday. The right-hander surrendered three earned runs across five-plus innings before exiting early in the sixth frame, giving him a 3.38 ERA through his first six starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:29 pm

    • Zac Gallen leaves start with hamstring tightness
Zac Gallen was pulled from Friday evening’s start against the Mariners mid at-bat in the sixth inning due to tightness in his right hamstring.

Advice: With as bad as it looked initially on the field, it’s actually encouraging that it’s not an elbow, shoulder or oblique issue that the 28-year-old right-hander is dealing with. The severity of the injury still isn’t known, but there’s a possibility that he may not even require a trip to the injured list. A lot will probably depend on how he wakes up feeling on Saturday, but for now fantasy managers and Diamondbacks’ fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:50 pm
