    • Yusei Kikuchi gives up four runs in loss to Dodgers
Yusei Kikuchi allowed four runs with three strikeouts over six innings in a loss against the Dodgers on Saturday.

Advice: Kikuchi gave up too much contact that found open field against the Dodgers. He allowed a leadoff triple to Mookie Betts to start the game, who then scored on a sacrifice fly. Four base hits in the second inning would bring in two more runs for Los Angeles. Kikuchi worked around a base hit in the third, then gave up a fourth run on two hits in the fourth. He finished strong with pair of clean innings in the fifth and sixth, striking out three on the day. The 32-year-old left-hander will take a 2.94 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and a 36/8 K/BB ratio across 33 2/3 innings into a road start against the Nationals on Friday. Rotoworld 37 minutes ago
    • Resting against lefty
Turang isn't in the Brewers' lineup Saturday against the Yankees.

Advice: Turang will sit down to begin the game as left-hander Carlos Rodon prepares to start on the mound for New York. Joey Ortiz will slide over to second base as a result, allowing Owen Miller to pick up a start at the hot corner and bat seventh. Rotowire.com Today, 2:25 pm

    • Jackson Merrill (groin) returns to action Saturday
Jackson Merrill (groin) returned to the Padres’ starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: Merrill missed each of the previous two games due to minor tightness in his right groin. He’s right back out there on Saturday though, starting in center field and batting eighth against Ranger Suarez and the Phillies. The 21-year-old rookie outfielder is hitting an impressive .318/.378/.409 with a homer, 12 RBI and four stolen bases in his first 27 games in the big leagues. Rotoworld Today, 2:20 pm

    • Back in action Saturday
Merrill (groin) is starting in center field and batting eighth Saturday against the Phillies.

Advice: Groin tightness has prevented Merrill from playing in the Padres' last two games, but he is seemingly feeling better heading into Saturday's contest. The 21-year-old is 5-for-18 with four RBI across his last five games, though all five of his hits in that span have been singles. Rotowire.com Today, 1:55 pm

    • Big effort in win
Busch went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Busch has been great so far in his first season with the Cubs, as he's slashing .289/.347/.554 with six home runs and 17 RBI across 24 games. The 26-year-old regularly sits against southpaws, but when a righty is on the mound, Busch looks like a strong fantasy asset at the moment. It helps him that the whole Chicago lineup is clicking during the team's 17-9 start, giving Busch plenty of chances to rack up stats. Rotowire.com Today, 6:32 am
    • Brice Turang steals 13th base in win over Yankees
Brice Turang went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in a win over the Yankees on Friday in 10 innings.

Advice: That steal is already the 13th of the season for Turang. The speedy infielder also singled twice to improve his average to .329 on the season with an .855 OPS to go along with it. This is obviously not sustainable, but it’s worth noting that Turang is a former first-round pick that was considered a top prospect not that long ago. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:29 pm

    • Michael Busch goes 3-for-4 in Cubs’ victory
Michael Busch went 3-for-4 with a double and a sac fly against the Red Sox on Friday.

Advice: Busch didn’t hit the ball very well tonight, but he hit it to all of the right spots. His double, which barely qualified as a hard-hit ball at 95.1 mph, would have been an out if not for the Green Monster. One of his other hits was a dribbler down the third base line that just would not go foul. Busch will take it; he came into this one 0-for-15 with nine strikeouts in his previous four games. • Drives in three runs
Witt went 1-for-4 with a triple, three RBI and a run scored during Friday's 8-0 win at Detroit.

Advice: The 23-year-old started the scoring with a sacrifice fly during the third inning and added a two-run triple as part of a seven-run ninth for the Royals. Witt is in a bit of a power drought with no homers in his past 14 games, though he does have six RBI and three steals over his last four contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:59 pm
    • Not starting Friday
Merrill (groin) is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Merrill was taken out of the lineup ahead of Thursday's loss to the Rockies as a precaution, and he was expected to be back Friday, per Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune. It appears the groin injury is still lingering, however, and the rookie outfielder will not start for a second consecutive game. With Merrill out of the lineup, Jose Azocar will start in center field, Jurickson Profar will be in left field and Manny Machado will make his return from his paternity leave to start at third base.
