    • Homer, two hits in win
Ward went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over St. Louis.

Advice: Ward jumped on a four-seamer from Nick Robertson in the bottom of the seventh and sent it into the stands in left field for a leadoff home run, giving the outfielder his first long ball this month and his eighth overall on the season. Ward also recorded a single in the contest, marking his fourth multi-hit game in May, during which he's now batting .261 with three RBI and six runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:34 am

    • Jackson Chourio swats 441-foot homer in blowout
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer on Wednesday in the Brewers’ blowout win over the Pirates.

Advice: Chourio obliterated a 441-foot no-doubter to left field off Pirates veteran lefty Martín Pérez in the sixth inning for his fifth round-tripper of the season. The 20-year-old top prospect has undoubtedly been scuffling at the plate recently, but this was the type of moonshot that could potentially get him going again. It was his first time leaving the yard since April 20. He’s still a work in progress, but he’s shown flashes of immense five-category fantasy upside so far in his Brewers debut. It’s only a matter of time before he makes the leap to superstardom. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:56 pm
    • Gets fourth straight start
Chourio will start in left field and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Chourio was on the bench for a stretch of four straight games from last Wednesday through Saturday, but he's now picked up starts in each of the subsequent four contests. Though he's reached base only twice over his last nine contests and carries a weak .579 OPS for the season into Wednesday's game, Chourio could nonetheless continue to see near-everyday playing time while Jake Bauers sees less time in the corner outfield and fills in at first base for the injured Rhys Hoskins (hamstring). Additionally, the struggling Blake Perkins -- who sat against right-handed starting pitchers both of the previous two days -- seems to have moved into more of a fourth-outfielder role of late. • Five-game hitting streak
Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a walk Monday against the Athletics.

Advice: Alvarez extended his hitting streak to five games with the performance, which was his fourth multi-hit performance in that span. He's also scored four runs and driven in another two during the sample. The strong stretch has also brought his batting average up to .264 across 180 plate appearances on the season, and that mark should continue to rise as the campaign progresses. • Tucker has two hits Monday
Kyle Tucker went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the Astros’ win over the Athletics on Monday.

Advice: The double was Tucker’s eighth of the season. He has carried the Astros so far this year. Tucker’s average is up to .277 and his OPS is up to .994. He has another three games to beat up on the Athletics this week.

    • Homers in victory
Tucker went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Tucker took Tigers starter Jack Flaherty deep for a two-run homer in the top of the sixth inning, giving Houston a 2-0 lead. The outfielder has now gone deep 13 times this season and five times in his last six contests. Over those six games, he's gone 5-for-20 with five home runs, seven RBI, six runs scored and a stolen base. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:16 pm

    • Jackson Chourio goes 0-for-2 in return to lineup
After sitting out four straight games, Jackson Chourio went 0-for-2 with a walk in his return to the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Chourio had a nicely hit liner, but it was caught by Brandon Crawford at short. The Brewers could have sent Chourio down last week, but they thought the break to work on things was a better idea. One imagines he’ll have to turn things around over the next 7-10 days in order to avoid a stint in Triple-A. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:46 pm
    • Getting Saturday off
Tucker is not in the Astros' starting lineup for Satuday's game against the Tigers, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Advice: Tucker has gone deep in four of his last five games, and his 12 home runs on the season are tied with Atlanta's Marcell Ozuna for most in the majors. Joey Loperfido will start in right field Saturday and bat ninth against Detroit southpaw Tarik Skubal. Rotowire.com Saturday, 12:49 pm

    • Kyle Tucker gets rare day off Saturday vs. Tigers
Kyle Tucker is not in the Astros lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Tigers.

Advice: It’s Tucker’s first day off this season. The 27-year-old fantasy superstar clobbered his 12th round-tripper of the season during Friday’s series-opening win over the Tigers. He holds a career-best .965 OPS with a league-leading 12 homers through 38 contests. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:32 pm
