    • Charged with five runs
Suarez (3-2) yielded five runs on 10 hits and three walks over five innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Astros.

Advice: Suarez got off to a rocky start when the Astros plated four runs in the first inning, beginning with Jose Altuve's leadoff shot on Suarez's first pitch of the afternoon. Suarez was 3-0 through 14 appearances but has now taken back-to-back losses. Over his last two starts, he's been tagged with eight runs in 8.2 innings, bumping his season ERA from 1.61 to 2.70 through 49.2 frames. Part of his recent struggles can be attributed to his command issues, as he's walked 11 batters over his last three starts. Suarez is currently in line for a home matchup against the Rangers. • Alec Burleson has two hits, two SB in win
Alec Burleson went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two steals in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Burleson had an RBI single in the first inning and then another RBI single in the second to give him 32 RBI on the season. The two swipes also gave him five on the year to go along with a .385/.319/.469 slash line. He hits near the top of the lineup pretty much every day and needs to be rostered in more leagues. • Patrick Bailey homers in loss to Cardinals
Patrick Bailey went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Advice: Bailey crushed a 425-foot shot off of Sonny Gray in the seventh inning at 104 mph for his sixth big fly of the year. Bailey is also slashing .292/.362/.444 and has been tremendous for the Giants when not on the IL as he battled concussion issues. He’s playing well enough and starting often enough that he can be rostered in one-catcher leagues far more regularly. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:16 pm

    • Webb recovers from rough start in loss
Logan Webb allowed four runs on nine hits in six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Advice: The game started off on the wrong foot for Webb, who allowed three runs on four hits in the first inning and then allowed another run on two more hits in the second. Over his final four innings, he didn’t allow a run, while giving up just three hits and striking out four. Webb may be more of an SP2 in fantasy baseball than the ace many wanted him to be coming into this year, but he’s a rock-solid starter who will carry a 3.16 ERA into a tough start against the Dodgers next weekend. • Albert Suárez hit around in loss to Astros
Albert Suárez allowed five runs on 10 hits in five innings in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.

Advice: Suárez has allowed eight earned runs in his last eight and 2/3 innings over two starts. His ERA may still be a sparking 2.70 on the season, but it feels unsustainable. He induced six whiffs on 43 swings for a 14 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW to go along with three strikeouts and three walks. He has gotten by with increased four-seam velocity this season, but the pitch mix isn’t overly dynamic, and it feels like an Orioles team that is hoping to make a run at the World Series will be looking to make a change in the rotation soon. For now, Suárez is set to start against the Rangers next week and is hard to trust in that one. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:39 pm

    • Emmanuel Clase grabs 24th save
Emmanuel Clase nailed down the save on Sunday against the Blue Jays after giving up a walk and a hit. He also struck out a batter.

Advice: Clase came in for his fourth outing in five days and earned yet another save. He’s allowed just three earned runs in 37 1/3 innings of work this season and his 24 saves trail only Ryan Helsley. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:35 pm

    • Not starting Sunday
Arenado (forearm) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Giants.

Advice: Arenado exited early in Saturday's 9-4 win due to discomfort in his left forearm. According to Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat, Arenado received an injection to alleviate the pain, and the Cardinals still waiting to see how the veteran third baseman responds to the shot before determining his availability for their upcoming three-game set with Atlanta that begins Monday. Brandon Crawford will pick up a start at the hot corner Sunday and bat eighth while Arenado rests. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:14 am

    • Confirmed for Tuesday
The Cardinals list Gibson (back) as their probable starter for Tuesday's game against Atlanta at Busch Stadium.

Advice: After coming off the bereavement list Wednesday, Gibson had been scheduled to start the Cardinals' series finale versus the Marlins later in the day, but he ended up being scratched shortly before opening pitch due to his back tightening up on him while he was going through his pregame routine. Matthew Liberatore was called upon for a spot start Wednesday in his stead, but Gibson looks like he'll be ready to go for his next turn through the Cardinals rotation. The veteran right-hander has submitted quality starts in three of his last five outings while turning in a 2.20 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over that stretch. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:13 am

    • Nolan Arenado out Sunday with forearm discomfort
Nolan Arenado (forearm) is absent from the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Giants.

Advice: Arenado has gotten banged up physically over the last few days as he’s been dealing with a right elbow issue stemming from a hit by pitch earlier this week and also left Saturday’s game early with left forearm discomfort. The fact that he hasn’t been put on the injured list is a positive indicator that he’s still day-to-day for now. The 33-year-old received a pain-reducing injection on Sunday morning and is hoping to be available to pinch-hit, if needed. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:25 am
