    • Christian Yelich homers, plates three to lead Crew
Christian Yelich went 3-for-4 with a homer, double, three runs scored and three RBI on Sunday afternoon, leading the Brewers to a 9-2 rout over the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring in Sunday’s contest with a 418-foot (107.2 mph EV) two-run blast off of rookie left-hander Justin Wrobleski in the fourth inning. He then singled and scored on a two-run knock by Blake Perkins in the eighth inning. Yelich also tacked on an RBI double in the ninth and scored on a run-scoring double by Garrett Mitchell. He’s having an outstanding season in the middle of the Brewers’ lineup, slashing .329/.407/.533 with 11 homers, 41 RBI and 19 stolen bases. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago
    • Freddie Freeman one of six Dodgers named All-Stars
Freddie Freeman was named to his eighth National League All-Star team on Sunday.

Advice: Freeman is one of six Dodgers to be named to the National League squad. Shohei Ohtani had already been named as the league’s starting designated hitter and Tyler Glasnow was named among the pitchers on Sunday. In addition, Teoscar Hernandez, Will Smith and Mookie Betts were named to the team with Freeman as reserves. Joining them as All-Star reserves announced on Sunday were Elly De La Cruz, CJ Abrams, Ryan McMahon, Jackson Merrill, Heliot Ramos, Bryan Reynolds, Marcell Ozuna, Luis Arraez and Pete Alonso. • Brady Singer goes seven for first win since May
Brady Singer limited the Rockies to one run over seven innings and struck out seven in a victory Sunday.

Advice: Singer has allowed exactly one run in four straight outings, taking his ERA back down to 2.93. An easy stretch of the schedule has helped, though he did have the nice outing today at Coors Field. The victory is his first since May 18, as he evened his record at 5-5. Rotoworld Today, 2:46 pm
    • Emmanuel Clase earns 27th save
Emmanuel Clase allowed one run on one hit but secured the save in a 5-4 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Clase allowed a one-out double to Matt Chapman before Chapman advanced to third on a catcher’s interference and then scored on a groundout. Overall, it was a good appearance for Clase, who now has 27 saves to go along with a 0.85 ERA on the season. Rotoworld Today, 1:53 pm
    • Obliterated by Oakland
Povich (1-3) took the loss against the Athletics on Saturday, allowing eight runs on five hits and three walks while striking out one batter over one-plus inning.

Advice: Povich got another turn in the rotation after pitching to an acceptable 4.05 ERA despite a 17:10 K:BB over his first five big-league starts, but he was overwhelmed by the league's third-lowest-scoring team. Oakland rocked the southpaw for three runs on a pair of walks and a Brent Rooker three-run homer before Povich recorded his first out. Things got worse for Povich in the second frame, as he allowed five straight baserunners to reach -- and yielded another three-run blast -- before mercifully being pulled having failed to retire a batter in the inning. Povich's ERA shot up to 6.51 as a result of the disastrous outing. If he remains in the rotation, his next turn is tentatively lined up to be a tough matchup against the Yankees. • Collects save Saturday
Clase walked one and struck out none over a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Clase has earned six saves and a win during his active nine-inning scoreless streak. He's added a 5:2 K:BB in that span. The closer is 26-for-29 in save chances this year with a 0.65 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and 39:5 K:BB across 41.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:47 pm
    • Christian Yelich crushes game-tying homer Saturday
Christian Yelich crushed a game-tying solo homer in the eighth inning on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Brewers past the Dodgers.

Advice: Yelich clobbered an Evan Phillips sweeper for a 429-foot (108.4 mph EV) game-tying solo shot in the top half of the eighth inning. It was all for nought though as the Dodgers belted a pair of homers of their own in the bottom half of the frame to regain command. The 32-year-old All-Star outfielder finished the evening 1-for-4 and is now hitting .322/.400/.512 with 10 homers, 38 RBI and 19 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:15 pm
    • Homer, steal in loss
Devers went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in a 14-4 loss to the Yankees on Saturday.

Advice: Devers hit an RBI single in the third inning before stealing second and coming around to score later in the frame. He then chased Gerrit Cole in the fifth with his 26th career home run against the Yankees. The steal was just his second of the season, but the 27-year-old has slashed a fantastic .287/.373/.570 with 19 home runs, 53 RBI and 54 runs scored over 332 plate appearances. • Winn has two hits, scores twice in loss to Nats
Masyn Winn went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI against the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Winn has a hit in six straight games and is 11-for-27 (.407) in that time. He drove in Nolan Gorman with an RBI single in the third inning and scored on an RBI single off the bat of Nolan Arenado. He scored again on a wild pitch in the fourth inning. Winn is hitting .294 with a .761 OPS and 30 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:52 pm
