    • Holds on for eighth save
Foley allowed two runs on three hits and no walks during the ninth inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-5 win against the Royals.

Advice: The right-hander was staked a three-run lead and needed all of it as he surrendered his first earned runs of the campaign Saturday. Foley remains perfect in eight save chances this season and has a 1.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 11:6 K:BB across 12 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 am
    • Dominates in no-decision
Bibee tossed seven scoreless innings, giving up two hits and no walks while striking out nine batters in a no-decision against Atlanta on Saturday.

Advice: Bibee made a talented Atlanta offense look inept, racking up 16 swinging strikes and allowing just two hits over seven frames. However, he was matched in putting zeroes up on the scoreboard by veteran Charlie Morton, and both hurlers had to settle for a no-decision. This was Bibee's first quality start of the campaign -- before Saturday, he hadn't gone deeper than 5.2 frames in any outing. Through six starts, the right-hander has a 3.45 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 35:12 K:BB over 31.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:55 pm
    • Tanner Bibee whiffs nine over seven scoreless
Tanner Bibee held Atlanta scoreless over seven innings with nine strikeouts, but didn’t qualify for a decision in his start Saturday.

Advice: In one of the better pitching duels of the year, Bibbee and Charlie Morton battled zero-for-zero over the first seven frames. Bibbee allowed only two hits while in action, and he didn’t walk anyone while firing 60-of-91 pitches for strikes. The right-hander has struck out 17 batters over his last two starts, and he’s lowered his ERA to 3.45 after a couple of shaky outings in the early portion of the season. Bibee is back in action Friday against a not-so-good Angels’ lineup at home in Cleveland. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:18 pm
    • Jason Foley escapes ninth inning with eighth save
Jason Foley walked the tightrope in the ninth inning against the Royals on Saturday, escaping with a one-run lead intact to earn his eighth save of the season.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander came on with a three-run advantage, but the Royals nudged closer as they put three hits together to score a pair of runs and put the tying run on base. He rallied back though to get Vinnie Pasquantino on a fly ball to center to end the ballgame. On the season, Foley now holds a 1.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and an 11/6 K/BB ratio across 12 innings on the season to go along with eight saves and two victories. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:14 pm
    • Plates two, steals base
Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with two RBI while netting his first stolen base of the season in Saturday's 7-4 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Goldschmidt one-hopped a two-run double off the wall as part of a four-run first inning for the Cardinals. He also added an infield single, a stolen base and another run scored. The former MVP did also strike out three times Saturday and has fanned at an elevated 30.1 percent. The production on the whole has ticked up over the past week, though, with Goldschmidt going 9-for-27 (.333) with one home run and four RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:04 pm
    • Paul Goldschmidt drives in two in win over Mets
Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, two RBI, and a stolen base to lead the Cardinals to a 7-4 win over the Mets.

Advice: Goldschmidt seems to be warming up at the plate. He collected two hits on Saturday for his third multi-hit game in his last five contests. Goldschmidt drove in two runs with a double in the first inning and scored on a base hit by Masyn Winn. He singled in the fifth and swiped second for his first stolen base of the season before scoring on a balk. The 36-year-old first baseman is slashing .214/.306/.296 with two homers and 11 RBI across 113 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:37 pm
    • Christopher Morel exits after collision on Saturday
Christopher Morel was removed from Saturday’s game against the Red Sox after colliding with teammate Alexander Canario.

Advice: Morel told reporters after the game that he felt alright, just a little banged up — specifically noting his right hip and both elbows. He did say that he was optimistic about his ability to play on Sunday, though manager Craig Counsell may have other plans. Be sure to check on his status prior to Sunday’s series finale. • Emerges from fall uninjured
Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Morel "is fine" after exiting Saturday's game versus the Red Sox after the seventh inning following a fall in the outfield, CHGO Cubs reports.

Advice: Morel toppled over left fielder Alexander Canario after making a running catch and landed hard on the ground, banging up his elbows and right hip. He looked to be in some pain and was removed from the game at that point. However, it sounds like he probably would've remained in if the score hadn't been so lopsided. It's possible the Cubs will hold Morel out Sunday if he's still a bit sore, but it does not appear fantasy managers need to have any real worry about his status. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:16 pm

    • Oneil Cruz sits with injured ankle on Saturday
Oneil Cruz was held out of the Pirates’ starting lineup on Saturday due to an injured ankle.

Advice: The dynamic 25-year-old shortstop tweaked his ankle during Friday night’s game against the Giants and was given a night off on Saturday to rest it. For the time being, he’s considered day-to-day. Alika Williams will start in his place at shortstop and will bat ninth against Jordan Hicks and the Giants on Saturday evening in San Francisco.
