      Josh Hader fired a scoreless ninth with two strikeouts to pick up a save Friday against the Mariners.

      Advice: Hader did walk a batter to put the tying run at the plate, but the left-hander was able to get a pair of strikeouts to lower his ERA to 5.93 and also pick up his third save.       Willson Contreras went 3-for-3 and scored two runs with a stolen base against the White Sox on Friday.

      Trea Turner was forced to leave Friday’s matchup against the Giants due to soreness in his left hamstring.

      Advice: The speedy 30-year-old shortstop singled, stole a base and raced all the way around from second to score on a wild pitch as Bryce Harper walked in the fifth inning, but it seemed to have taken a toll on his hamstring as he was replaced when the Phillies took the field. The severity of the issue — and whether or not he’ll miss any time — remain unclear. More should be known on his status prior to Saturday’s game against the Giants.     • Trea Turner exits game with injury on Friday night
      Trea Turner was removed from Friday night’s contest against the Giants in the fifth inning due to an apparent injury.

      Advice: Uh oh. That’s never what you want to hear. The 30-year-old superstar literally created a run on his own in the bottom of the fourth inning as he smacked a two-out single, stole second base and then raced around to score from second base on walk by Bryce Harper as the ball bounced away from the catcher. It’s possible that he tweaked a hamstring or something while zooming around the bases, but hopefully it’s nothing major. Look for the Phillies to provide an update on his status shortly.       Doval earned a save against the Red Sox on Thursday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.

      Advice: Doval entered in the bottom of the ninth with a two-run lead and retired the side in order on 14 pitches. He's given up just two runs over 11 innings since a rough season debut against San Diego on March 30.       Torres went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Orioles.

      Advice: Torres led off the sixth inning with a 418-foot shot to center field off Keegan Akin, cutting the Yankees' deficit to 7-2. While it didn't ultimately impact the final score, the home run was certainly a weight off of Torres' shoulders -- he'd gone 32 games without a long ball to start the campaign, a homerless streak of 53 regular-season games if you go back to Torres' last home run Sept. 7.
