      Advice: The right-hander generated 13 swinging strikes on 103 pitches as he and Detroit starter Reese Olson combined to give up just a single run in 14 frames. The swing-and-miss stuff from Lugo was a welcome sight after he posted a 4.1 K/9 through his first five starts of the season.       Seth Lugo delivered a masterful performance in Friday afternoon’s victory over the Tigers, racking up nine strikeouts over seven innings of shutout baseball.

      Advice: Lugo scattered just three hits and a pair of walks on the afternoon. All of the hits that he did allow were singles, and the Tigers never really mounted a serious scoring threat against him. He got 13 swings and misses on 103 pitches on the day, posting an elite CSW of 35 percent.
