      Ryan Pepiot allowed five runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings against the Braves on Saturday.

      Advice: Pepiot allowed seven hard-hit baseballs on the day and three home runs which accounted for seven runs. The right-hander did produce a 26 percent whiff rate and 26 percent CSW which helped him strike out four. However, he also walked three in what was an uneven effort overall. His first season in Tampa has not gone as smoothly as hoped. While he has flashed upside, he also has a 4.57 ERA but he has a good chance to turn that around next week against the Pirates.       Santander went 2-for-2 with two home runs and four RBI in a 6-2 win over the Phillies on Saturday.

      Advice: Santander tied the game on a solo home run in the fourth inning then gave the Orioles the lead on a sacrifice fly in the sixth. He later added a two-run homer in the eighth. Santander continued his June power binge, homering for the eighth time in 15 contests this month.       Darvish (groin) threw a bullpen session Friday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

      Advice: Darvish simulated three innings in the session, tossing 60 pitches. The veteran hurler said before throwing the bullpen that he expects the session to be sufficient ramp-up to allow him to return to the Padres' rotation without a rehab assignment.       Anthony Santander went 2-for-2 with two homers, four RBI, and a walk to lead the Orioles to a 6-2 win over the Phillies on Saturday.

      Advice: Santander drew a walk in the second inning, then led off the fourth with a solo homer off Taijuan Walker to tie the game. He later gave the Orioles some insurance runs in the eighth, taking José Ruiz deep for a two-run blast for his second homer of the day. After hitting nine home runs over the first two months, he’s already up to eight while hitting .298 in a red-hot June.       Brewers’ manager Pat Murphy told reporters on Saturday that Devin Williams (back) remains on track to return after the All-Star break.

      Advice: Murphy also noted that the 29-year-old hurler is expected to get on a mound soon as he continues his recovery from a pair of stress fractures in his back. While Trevor Megill has been outstanding in his stead, Williams is one of the premiere closers in all of baseball and should jump right back into the Brewers’ ninth inning role as soon as he’s healthy enough to do so.       Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Saturday that Williams (back) is expected to be cleared to throw off a mound soon, Jack Stern of Brewer Fanatic reports.

      Advice: Murphy also added that Williams remains on track to return just after the All-Star break, although that would seem to be a tentative timetable given that the reliever has yet to resume throwing off a mound.       Advice: Bradish pitched five frames in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Phillies in extra innings, leaving the contest with right elbow discomfort, which is now understood to be due to the much-despised UCL. The 27-year-old missed the first month of the season with a UCL sprain, so he's likely set to miss more than the minimum 15 days and could be out until after the All-Star break. Left-hander Nick Vespi was called up from Triple-A Norfolk to replace Bradish on Baltimore's major-league roster in a corresponding move Saturday.       Advice: Not good. Bradish lands on the injured list after being removed from Friday’s start against the Phillies with right elbow discomfort. The primary concern here for fantasy managers is that Bradish missed time earlier this year due to a UCL sprain in his right elbow, which caused him to miss all of spring training and the first month of the season. There should be an update on his status at some point in the near future, but the 27-year-old righty could be facing a lengthy absence.       Rooker went 1-for-5 with an RBI triple in an extra-inning loss to the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Rooker's seventh-inning three-bagger plated JJ Bleday to snap a 4-4 tie, giving the Athletics a temporary reprieve after they'd blown an early 4-0 lead. The triple was Rooker's second of the season -- a new career high -- and marked his first extra-base hit since June 4. The veteran outfielder has now hit safely in five of his last seven games, but he's also carrying a .172 average and 43.3 percent strikeout rate across the 30 plate appearances he's logged in that span.
