    • Launches grand slam
Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a walk and a grand slam during Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Guerrero's grand slam in the second inning off Mackenzie Gore was his fourth of the season and first in 22 games. It was also the first time he homered this season with men on base as he had collected just 11 RBI and hit just .231 coming into the contest. Despite the power outage, Guerrero is currently in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, batting 11-for-32 (.344) with three doubles, a homer, five RBI and three runs scored during that stretch. • Santander has three hits, five RBI vs CIN
Anthony Santander went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and five RBI in an 11-1 win over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: It was only a matter of time before Santander started to get hot. The 29-year-old took Emilio Pagan deep for a three-run shot in the eighth innings that went 402 feet and left the bat at 104 mph. He also had a 107.3 mph single and 98.3 mph single on the day. He’s slashing .218/.295/.427 on the season with five home runs and 23 RBI. If you can, now would still be the time to try and trade for Santander before he really gets hot. • Solid over six frames versus Boston
Ryan (1-2) was tagged with the loss after he pitched six innings, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five batters in Sunday's 9-2 defeat to the Red Sox.

Advice: Ryan tossed three scoreless frames to open his outing Sunday before giving up an RBI double to Rob Refsnyder in the fourth and then a two-run homer to Ceddanne Rafaela in the fifth inning. The right-hander has now recorded three straight quality starts and he has yet to allow more than three runs in any outing this season. Ryan will carry a 3.54 ERA and 1.01 WHIP into his next projected start Friday in Toronto. Rotowire.com Today, 5:17 pm

    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hits grand slam versus Nats
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-4 and hit his fifth career grand slam Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Guerrero also walked. The homer off MacKenzie Gore was his first since April 10. He’s now hit in eight straight games, raising his OPS from .643 to .711. Rotoworld Today, 3:59 pm
    • Joe Ryan gets loss after quality start
Joe Ryan pitched six innings and allowed three runs Sunday in a loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Ryan still hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in a start and he’s completed six innings five times, but all he has to show for it is a 1-2 record to go along with his 3.54 ERA and 46/6 K/BB ratio. He’ll get the Blue Jays next. Rotoworld Today, 2:24 pm

    • Edouard Julien fans three times in defeat
Edouard Julien struck out all three times he was up before being replaced Sunday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Julien had a great stretch towards the end of last month to push his OPS up to .890, but he’s back down to .795 now after going 1-for-18 with 11 strikeouts in his last seven games. He does have six walks during that span, but he hasn’t scored a single run. It’s going to be tough to justify using him in shallow leagues if he’s a platoon player not hitting for average or stealing many bases. Rotoworld Today, 2:24 pm

    • Not in Sunday's lineup
Campusano is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Campusano started the previous four games and went 2-for-15 with two walks, two RBI and two runs. Kyle Higashioka will take over behind the plate in Sunday's series finale. Rotowire.com Today, 12:22 pm
    • Faces hitters in live session
Senga (shoulder) completed a 32-pitch live batting practice session Saturday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Facing hitters in extended live BP session marks a major milestone in Senga's recovery from a right posterior shoulder capsule strain, which caused him to miss most of spring training and resulted in him opening the season on the 15-day injured list before he was shifted to the 60-day IL on April 10. He won't be eligible to make his season debut until May 27, but Senga appears on target to return on or around that date based on where he currently stands in his recovery. The Mets will see how he bounces back from Saturday's throwing session over the next couple of days before deciding whether he's ready to report to a minor-league affiliate to begin a rehab assignment, or if he'll need to throw another live BP before doing so. • Senga (shoulder) throws 32 pitches in live BP
Kodai Senga (shoulder) threw 32 pitches in his live bullpen session Saturday.

Advice: Senga has now faced live hitters twice this week. The Mets will now determine the next steps for the right-hander in the coming days, as they want to see how he responds before deciding when he’ll begin a rehab assignment. There’s a very good chance he does begin that assignment at this point, however, and he’s on track to make his return around May 27 — the earliest Senga can be activated off the 60-day IL.
